ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. There will be a zero-tolerance policy toward drugs and violence.
2. The licence holder shall ensure safe capacity levels are not exceeded.
3. Good lighting will be provided in and around the premises.
4. Noise will be managed with soundproofing, double glazing, or volume limiters on music systems.
5. Delivery times and waste collections will be restricted to avoid late-night disturbance.
6. Signs asking customers to leave quietly will be displayed around premises.
7. Outside areas will be managed (smoking zones, beer gardens) to reduce noise and litter.
8. 'Challenge 21/25' policy shall be in operation to prevent underage sales.
9. Alcohol will be kept behind the counter to reduce self-service.
10. Access will be restricted to age-inappropriate films, games, or entertainment.
11. Staff shall receive training on how to check and verify ID.
12. The premises licence holder shall ensure children are not exposed to strong language, nudity, or unsafe environments.

13. A CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times whilst the premises are open (in line with specification March 2025) . The CCTV images will be stored for 30 days and police and authorised officers of the council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder, in line with GDPR guidance. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system.
CCTV systems installed after 2021 should be full digital systems with wide dynamic range IP cameras (WDR).
14. An incident log shall be kept at the premises, and made available for inspection on request to an authorised officer of the Council or the Police, which will record the following:
a. all crimes reported to the venue
b. all ejections of patrons
c. any complaints received
d. any incidents of disorder
e. all seizures of drugs or offensive weapons
f. any faults in the CCTV system or searching equipment or scanning equipment
g. any visit by a relevant authority or emergency service.
15. Such records to be retained for at least 12 months and available for inspection on request.

-CCTV operation (authorised staff only)

17. Suitable refresher training to be completed at least once per calendar year commencing the year after their date of employment. A written record to be retained for a minimum of 12 months and shall be made available to the Police and/or Licensing Authority upon request.
18. There shall be a zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs at the premises and there shall be regular checks by management to prevent the use of drugs by patrons. Drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the Police.
19. At least 2 SIA registered door staff will in place from 20:00 hours until the premises closes on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, prior to bank holidays, and during all boxing events. At all other times the need for SIA registered door staff is to be risk assessed by the premises taking into account anticipated capacity and Police advice.
20. All drinks to be supplied in non-glass vessels during all boxing events, the use at all other times will be in accordance with the premises assessment of risk.
21. Persons under the age of 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times and be off the premises by 19:00 hours unless attending a private, pre-booked family type function.
22. The Designated Premises Supervisor or other such responsible member of staff must be assigned to act as the Safeguarding co-ordinator for ensuring that all staff are fully trained in the risks to children and vulnerable adults. This person must act in compliance with the training and guidance provided by the Sheffield Children’s Safeguarding Partnership. They must undertake a written safeguarding risk assessment relevant to the nature of the premises and its activities. Records to be retained for a minimum of 12 months and shall be made available to the Police and/or Licensing Authority upon request.
Large scale events
23.An Event Management Plan in accordance with appropriate event industry guidance shall be prepared for all events over 499 people, and must be available to Responsible Authorities upon request. Each event must be assessed upon its own merits.

30. No customers carrying opened bottles upon entry shall be admitted, drinks may not be removed outside of the perimeter of the event site.
31. The event security firm to operate in accordance with a formal events search policy.
32. 33. A suitably qualified and experienced event safety officer shall be employed for all major events, with details provided in the Event Management Plan.
34. A final version of the Event Management Plan to be submitted to the following authorities no later than 28 days before the First Event Day:

34. No amplified sound shall be played in the licensed event area of the premises (i.e., excluding the gym use area) unless controlled by a sound limiter capable of limiting the amplified sound level output to a pre-set level which may then be secured in a tamperproof manner. The design and settings of the limiter shall have received the prior written approval of Sheffield City Council’s Environmental Protection Service.
35. A management plan shall be held on site detailing the importance of monitoring and controlling the behaviour of customers in the immediate vicinity of the premises (including smokers), and the dispersion of customers towards the close of trading. Staff shall be suitably trained to implement the management plan and a copy of the plan, and any referenced policies, shall be made available upon request by the Licensing Authority.
36. The premises licence holder shall prominently display notices on all exits reminding patrons to leave the premises in a quiet and orderly fashion and to respect the local neighbours’ needs.
37. No external doors, including any doors forming part of an acoustic lobby, shall be held or propped open during events featuring amplified live or recorded music.
38.Any ventilation outlets serving the licensed area are to be acoustically baffled.

39. For boxing and wrestling events, a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks associated with each event shall be undertaken.
40. Notice of any boxing or wrestling events shall be given by email to the Public Safety Responsible Authority and South Yorkshire Police not less than 21 days prior to the planned event.
41. Only Boxing events affiliated with professional bodies such as ‘The British Boxing Board of Control’ shall take place under the provision of this licence.
42. A Building Regulation Completion Certificate shall be submitted to the responsible authority for public safety within a reasonable time period after the premises has opened for business.
43. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical power serving all amplified music equipment used for the purposes of live music or similar entertainment.
44. A satisfactory Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) or an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) in accordance with the current edition of the Wiring Regulations shall be provided.
45. The maximum number of public attending the premises at any one time, shall not exceed 800 persons (subject to the Fire Risk Assessment which may deem a lower number)
