ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The premises shall be kept clean and well maintained and noise levels shall be monitored and controlled.
2. Signage shall be displayed asking customers to leave the premises quietly and the dispersal of customers shall be monitored at closing time.
3. Outdoor areas and smoking zones shall be managed responsibly.
4. There shall be proper and regular waste disposal.

5. It is considered that for the nature of the operation door supervisors will not be required however, a risk assessment will be undertaken should unusual events takes place and if they consider it appropriate will employ the same. Consideration to be given to local events including, but not limited to, Tramlines, large scale city centre events, football matches and on Police advice. Risk assessments to be kept on site for a minimum of 6 months and made available, at request, to the responsible authorities.
6. Drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers.
7. The use of glass alternative drinking vessels shall be utilised in accordance with the premises assessment of risk. Particular consideration to be given to local events including, but not limited to, Tramlines, large scale city centre events, local football matches and on Police advice. The licence holder or member of the management team to ensure awareness of all major city centre events and football games, planning to be reflected in the relevant risk assessment.
8. An incident log shall be kept at the premises, and made available for inspection on request to an authorised officer of the Council or the Police, which will record the following:
(a) all crimes reported to the venue
(b) all ejections of patrons
(c) any complaints received
(d) any incidents of disorder
(e) all seizures of drugs or offensive weapons
(f) any faults in the CCTV system or searching equipment or scanning equipment
(g) any visit by a relevant authority or emergency service.
9. Such records to be retained for at least 12 months and available for inspection on request.
10. Staff will receive training concerning , but not limited to,
-Vulnerability awareness
-Crime scene preservation
-Drugs policies
-Underage sales/Challenge 25 scheme /Proxy Sales/Fake ID’s
-CCTV operation (authorised staff only
-Dispersal policies
Suitable refresher training to be completed at least once per calendar year commencing the year after their date of employment. A written record to be retained for a minimum of 12 months and shall be made available to the Police and/or Licensing Authority upon request.
11. A CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times whilst the premises are open (in line with specification March 2025) . The CCTV images will be stored for 30 days and police and authorised officers of the council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder, in line with GDPR guidance. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system.
CCTV systems installed after 2021 should be full digital systems with wide dynamic range IP cameras (WDR).
12. The CCTV system will contain the correct time and date stamp information.
13. The CCTV footage will be controlled and kept in a secure environment to prevent tampering or unauthorised viewing. A record will be kept of who has access the system, the reason why and when.
14. A Challenge 25 scheme must operate including a refusals log, signage and the maintenance of staff training records.
15. No singular alcoholic drinks, including beer, lager & cider in cans will be sold; a minimum purchase of 4 will be required.
16. No Beers, Lager or Cider of 6.5% ABV and above to be sold at this premise.
