Additional Conditions
1) a) CCTV System maintained to give 24 hour, 360 degree recorded imaging. b) All CCTV videotapes must be maintained for 28 days before being destroyed. c) All tapes will be available for inspection by Officers of the Licensing General Section and South Yorkshire Police at all times. 2)Dancing will apply to the Embassy Ballroom only. 3) All entertainers (including DJs or live acts) will inform customers of the managements commitment within the local community in relation to the reduction of noise nuisance and tolerance. 4)Public notices are to be erected inside the premises at all entry and exit points reminding customers to keep noise levels to a minimum when in the immediate area of the premises 5)That noise levels be monitored at regular intervals (noise levels should be maintained as agreed with Environmental Services Department) both inside and outside the premises. These records will be kept for 12 months and be available for inspection by Authorised Officers of the Council and South Yorkshire Police. 6)The fire door facing towards the immediate neighbours should be changed to incorporate an Acoustic Noise Level Monitor, in accordance with the British Standard ASD 46 H or similar. 7)The air conditioning in the premises be upgraded to alleviate the practice of wedging doors open in hot weather. 8)All doors will be kept closed at all times when the premises are in use. 9)The licensee/manager must have regular meetings with the Local Police Officer to maintain regular contact/liaison with the local community. 10)The car park will not be used at any time as an extension of the licensed premises and will be used for no other purposes than a car park. 11)Children accompanied by an adult will be permitted into the premises at the discretion of the management. 12)A satisfactory Gas Installation Certificate must be maintained as appropriate. 13)There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises. 14)There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children, save for the use of authorised AWP machines. Capacity (1)The number of members of the public who may be present at any one time on the premises or in any part of such premises specified below shall not exceed: - Area Capacity The whole of the premises 500 (2)Where the Council is of the opinion that in order to avoid or reduce any disturbance of or annoyance to residents in the neighbourhood of the premises or the occurrence of disorderly conduct in the premises, it is desirable for the permitted hours specified in sub-paragraph (1) above to be varied, the Council may, after affording the licensee the opportunity of making representations to the Council, by notice served on the licensee vary the permitted hours and thereafter the hours specified in the notice shall apply in substitution for the hours specified in sub-paragraph (1) above. 2A. Security Staff The licensee shall maintain at the premises a register containing the following details of all persons present on the premises during Public Entertainments whose duties wholly or mainly consist of the direction or control of the members of the public. The details of each person shall be entered prior to that person commencing such duties and shall not be deleted from the register for a period of twelve months from the last date upon which that person carried out such duties. The details of each person required to be kept are: full name and address, date of birth, photograph, physical description and description of duties at the premises. The licensee shall also keep a record showing which registered person(s) are working at the premises on each occasion the premises are open for the purpose of Public Entertainment. This record is to be kept at the premises for a period of not less than twelve months. The register and record shall be open for inspection at any time by any Police Officer or Authorised Officer of the Council. 2B. Security Staff Registration Scheme The Licensee shall only permit staff registered by he Council (under its Security Staff Registration Scheme) or licensed by the Security Industry Authority to be engaged in duties which wholly or mainly consist of: (a) deciding on the suitability of persons to be allowed on the premises and/or (b) maintaining order on the premises.
