Additional Conditions
Persons shall only be allowed to remove drinks from the premises in sealed containers except for consumption in any external drinking area. 2. The style and operation of the premises will not materially change. 3. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public. 4. The CCTV system will be maintained in good working order with recording facilities, and such recordings shall be retained for a period of 31 days and made available within a reasonable time upon request by the police. 5. A receptacle for the disposal of glass and other sharp objects will be provided in the areas where alcohol is consumed. 6. The use and distribution of illegal substances and/or soliciting for illegal activities inside or adjacent to the premises will be discouraged and reported to the police. Drugs seized or articles taken shall be fully recorded by staff at the venue and such items will be retained where they may be required as evidence. Police will be informed of the existence of such articles, and they will be released to the police upon request. 7. The designated premises supervisor will be a member of the local pub watch scheme. 8. The designated premises supervisor shall consult with police from time to time in relation to relevant issues in the premises and in the locality, and any action plans or initiatives in existence aimed at addressing such issues. 9. The premises shall adopt and maintain a proof of age scheme in relation to the sale of alcohol and admission to restricted films and shall have regard to any guidance issued by the police and Trading Standards. 10. The premises shall consult with the police at the earliest opportunity where an event is planned which is unusual, or not normally held at the premises and where that event is likely to cause an increased impact upon public safety, traffic or police resources. 11. Adequate public seating will be provided in all areas having regard to the nature of the premises and/or the type of function being held. 12. The maximum occupancy of the building (including staff and performers) will be as follows Showroom Bar = 420 Showroom Café = 100 Workstation (for functions) = 380 Showroom Five = 70 Foyer = 100 Cinema 1 = 83 Cinema 2 = 110 Cinema 3 = 176 Cinema 4 = 283 13. All points of egress will be checked at regular intervals. 14. All staff will be trained in emergency evacuation procedures. 15. Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the members respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 16. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 17. The premises will operate an exit policy to minimise the potential for disturbance to noise sensitive premises and ensure orderly dispersal. 18. Children under the age of 18 shall not be permitted to enter the premises after 22:30 unless attending a pre booked function or accompanied by an adult. 19. No films or videos of any description will be viewed by persons under the age of any applicable BBFC/Local Authority certification except in accordance with the policy of our Parent & Baby Cinema Club. 20. The premises will maintain its Child Protection Policy (available upon request). 21. Staff who are responsible for the close supervision of children will be CRB checked at the earliest opportunity. 22. One leaf of the external door (800mm) will be adjusted so that it can remain open to allow staff to enter and exit the bar area carrying food, and that the door will be linked to an automatic release if the fire alarm is triggered. This arrangement will be subject to inspection and approval by the Environmental Protection Service prior to launching the external seating area and at any time in the future. 23. The areas of the building which are subject to the Parent & Baby screening will be subject to risk assessment and additional work including fitting of finger guards to doors, cinema sound level monitoring and the availability of booster seats. The Parent and Baby Cinema Club will be operated in accordance with the Operating Policy supplied by Sheffield Media and Exhibition Centre Limited and agreed by the Licensing Authority 25. The Local Authority will waiver the restrictions for 15 certificate films for babies up to the age of 12 months if accompanied by a parent in accordance with the Parent and Baby Screenings Operating Policy. 26. The external seated area located on Paternoster Row shall not be used for the supply of alcohol after 23:00 hours. 27. The outside seating area on Paternoster Row shall not exceed 9 tables and 20 chairs, as reflected on the building plans. 28. A recognised proof of age scheme will be operated in compliance with guidance issued by the responsible authorities to prevent underage drinking and irresponsible drinking. 29. Outside tables and chairs to be removed from the front of the building on football match days. 30. Outside tables and chairs to be removed from the front of the building at 21:00 hours each day. 31. The outside seating area will not be implemented until the necessary planning permission and highways licence have been obtained.
