Additional Conditions
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with the operating schedule 1. The outside area will be staffed and supervised at all times, with the main emphasis being on outside dining. 2. Alcohol shall only be served to customers using the Devonshire Green area (light blue upper area and dark blue lower area) via a waiter service. 3. Security staff and Designated Premises Supervisor will conform to the South Yorkshire Police Security Staff protocol. 4. A colour CCTV system to the minimum specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times the premises are open. CCTV images will be sorted for 28 days. Police will be given access to, and copies of images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 5. The Designated Premises Supervisor for these premises must be registered member of Sheffield Licence Watch. Annual membership and meeting attendance should be maintained. 6. Whenever the Devonshire Green section is in use a minimum of one member of staff is to be on duty with the sole role of control and monitoring of customers in that area. 7. A physical barrier will be in place to re-enforce the visible change in the paving at the boundary to the defined area. This can be of stanchion and rope or lightweight barrier construction that is removed at the close of trading along with the tables and chairs. 8. The premises will have a supply of polycarbonate drinking vessels that will be used in consultation with the South Yorkshire Police or when local factors or patron behaviour indicate specific risk. 9. Use of the outside area shall cease at 23:00 hours. 10. No amplified sound shall be played within the building except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiter, the settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. Specific conditions converted from the Justices Licence 1. Substantial refreshment shall be available throughout permitted hours. 2. There shall be no juke box on the premises. 3. There shall be no amusement with prize machines, pool table, video machines, skill with prize machines, pin ball machines on the premises. 4. Tables and chairs will be provided at the premises to provide seating for a minimum of 100 persons at anyone time. 5. Maximum capacity of persons at anyone time inside the premises, shall be set by the Local Authority under the Public Entertainment Licence, but shall not exceed 350. 6. The licence shall only permit staff registered by the Council (under the Security Staff Registration Scheme) to be engaged in duties which wholly or mainly consist of:¬ a. deciding on the suitability of persons to be allowed on the premises, and/or b. maintaining order on the premises. 7. Colour CCTV will be installed in positions agreed with the Police and tapes stored for such period of time as the Police may specify. 8. The licensee to be a member of the Pub Watch Scheme. Specific conditions converted from the Childrens Certificate 9. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. 10. Meals and beverages other than intoxicating liquor must be available in the designated area during the hours when the certificate is in force. 11. Any open fire must be fitted with a child proof guard.
