Additional Conditions

• 1. Any person exercising a security activity shall be licensed by the Security Industry Authority. 2. Such a person will be employed at the premises at the discretion of the designated premises supervisor/holder of the Premises Licence. 3. Any person as defined in condition (1) will clearly display their name badge at all times whilst on duty. 4. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public. 5. CCTV required to the minimum standard of the police, when there are boxing or wrestling events on the premises, and alcohol is being sold or supplied. 6. CCTV to the minimum standard of the police for functions at the premises, during which alcohol is sold or supplied, other than prize – giving’s, dining functions, conferences, or events, directly linked to a sporting event or sports meeting, which can take place with the existing CCTV system. 7. For any other event not covered by the above, where alcohol is sold or supplied, the police will be given at least a 10 working days notice, in writing, to consider each of any such events in its merits, as to whether the existing CCTV system would be suitable for such an event. 8. Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose. 9. To comply with the reasonable requirements of the fire officer from time to time. 10. To comply with the reasonable requirements of the building control officer. 11. Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the members respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 12. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 13. No films or videos of any description will be shown so that they can be viewed by persons under the age of any applicable BBFC/Local Authority certification. 14. The maximum capacities for various areas will be as follows: • Badminton Hall - Upper floor 300 - Floor area 200 • Netball Hall 1000 • Athletics Hall - Main Stand 856 - Disabled seats/attendants 38 - Corner blocks 216 Total permanent seats 1110 Capacities in these areas listed may only be increased by written agreement with the South Yorkshire Fire Authority and the Environmental Health Department on submission of an event proposal, and such written agreement to be communicated to the Licensing Authority prior to an event. 15 Alcohol shall only be served for consumption in the following manner: i In the case of a sporting event, in plastic vessels only ii In the case of a non-sporting function, in safety glassware iii In case of a food related event there should be no restriction on the vessels used iv For non-sporting functions, any specialist sporting flooring in the premises that is to be used for the function shall be covered with a suitable non-slip temporary floor covering. 16 Electrical sockets used for live performers shall have adequate RCD protection. 17 When dancing is to take place at these premises in an area no previously approved for dancing by the authority at least 14 days notice must be given to the Environmental and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used as a designated dance floor and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved as suitable and adequate by the authority. 18 Areas for consumption of alcohol shall be marked with appropriate signage. 19 While a function is taking place in an area licensed for the sale of alcohol involving the consumption of liquor, the athletics area shall only be used for sports training purposes (unless the event is an event occurring in the sports area, and authorised by a temporary events notice). 20 The premises shall keep an up-to-date and current written fire risk assessment. 21 The primary purpose of the venue is that of a sporting facility with ancillary events and occasional functions.
