Additional Conditions
1. A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment for live music. 2. CCTV cameras are on site covering both internal and external areas. 3. The DPS will provide staff training in regards to safe alcohol sales and proof of age. Training records will be kept. 4. Trained responsible people will be on site in the absence of the DPS. The supporting documentation will be available on site. 5. There is an access control system on all external doors. There are also perimeter gates and fence to the land. 6. Alcohol will be limited through a ticketing system to no more than two alcoholic drinks per adult on the occassions where alcohol is provided at functions. 7. Events are seated for performances. 8. No alcohol is allowed at functions organised by the community and hirers of the building. 9. The Challenge 21 scheme will be operated to ensure that only adults are able to access alcohol on the occassions where it is provided at events. 10. There will be controlled advertising of all school events. 11. There is adequate parking facilities on site for events. 12. There will be an audience control via tickets for functions. 13. There shall be limitations to numbers attending the events dependant on which areas are used. 14. A comprehensive hire agreement agreed by Legal services of the Council is in place for all hirers of the facilities. 15. Trained school staff will manage the events. 16. Many rooms that may be used for events have acoustic sound proofing. This includes the main hall and two adjoining large spaces that have acoustic panels in the walls. The music area of the school also has acoustic soundproofing in the walls and ceiling to prevent noise transfer. 17. Enhanced CRB checks are completed for all school staff. 18. Hirers that have events with children are all asked for their CRB clearance information by school before being able to hire the facilities.
