Additional Conditions

• 1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children, save for the use of authorised AWP machines and cigarette machines. 2. Any external regulated entertainment excluding live music or amplified sound will end by 23:00 unless taking place in the marquee. 3. The premises is to be used primarily as a Members’ Club for South Yorkshire Police Sports and Social Club but will be available for hire for any public events subject to the agreement of the club. 4. A CCTV system is to be used, covering entry to the centre and the car park. Records shall be retained for 31 days. The system will be extended to cover the bar areas to the satisfaction of the licensing authorities. 5. The use of polycarbonate containers only to be used when customers are taking drinks outside the club. 6. Notices will be erected in the car park and at the main exits to the building, reminding patrons to leave quietly late at night. 7. No persons under the age of 16 years old will be permitted to enter or remain in the bar area unless supervised by a person over 18 years old. 8. .All staff will be trained in a Proof of Age Scheme, which is to be implemented. 9. The DPS or designated member of staff must take a pro-active approach to noise control, checking outside the premise to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using the external area, and manage noise levels internally and externally to prevent nuisance at the nearby noise sensitive properties. 10. No live music or amplified sound shall be played in any external areas, other than inside the marquee, between the hours of 20:00 hours to 09:00 hours on any day. 11. No live music shall be played on the premises between the hours of 23:00 hours to 09:00 hours, other than inside the main conference and leisure building. Between these hours, all doors and windows shall be closed, save for access and egress, whenever live music is played inside the main building. 12. No amplified sound shall be played within the marquee except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiter, the settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 13. No fireworks shall be used on the premises between the hours of 21:00 hours to 09:00 hours next day , other than on the following days, as permitted under the Fireworks Regulations 2004, when use is permitted until 01:00 hours on the night of the Chinese New Year, until 01:00 hours on the night of Diwali, until 01:00 hours on the night of New Years Eve and until Midnight on 5 November. 14. The applicant shall consult with the responsible authorities throughout the planning of the facilities on the premises provided for the marquee to ensure the standard complies with the Sheffield City Council’s Policy and Guidance as issued under the Licensing Act 2003. 15. A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical power serving amplified music equipment used for the purpose of live music. 16. When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to Environment and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used. The designated dance floor should be delineated, suitable and adequate in size for its intended use and dancing must not take place in the area until approved by the Authority. 17. For boxing and wrestling events, a minimum of 28 days notification shall be given to the Health Protection Service prior to the event taking place. The event shall not take place unless suitable arrangements have been made.
