Additional Conditions
Any embedded permissions and restrictions attached to the justices Club Registration Certificate including those specified at Appendix 1. The holder of the club premises certificate shall nominate a member of staff in his absence to take charge of the premises and have responsibility for ensuring the safety of members of staff and the public who resort on the premises. Notices to be displayed for zero tolerance of any abusive behaviour towards staff or members of the public who resort on the premises. Violence or threatening behaviour will result in the authorities being notified. Any disorderly conduct on the premises will be notified to the police. All fire exits and escape routes on the premises to be kept clear at all times. Fire action notices to be posted, and emergency escape routes to be signposted and illuminated as appropriate. The fire alarm system should be regularly checked. First aid equipment and material is available on the premises and a person trained in first aid will be on the premises at all times. The premises will be well maintained with good lighting, ventilation and no tripping hazards. Except for access and egress, all windows and doors to remain closed when live or recorded music is played. Signs near the exits of the premises must clearly communicate that guests must respect the needs of local residents, and leave the premises quietly. Any person who appears to be intoxicated will not be allowed entry to the premises. All staff will be trained in all aspects of crime and disorder prevention. The premises is a member of Pub Watch. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. No children are to remain in the club after 21:00 hours unless they are a guest of a private function. Proof of age is required where appropriate. (b) In a case where there is no classification given by the classification body (the BBFC) the admission of children to the exhibition of any film must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation given by the Licensing Authority. 2. In this section - children means persons aged under 18; and film classification body means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c.39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).
