Additional Conditions
1. SIA registered door staff will be used on Friday and Saturday evenings, and occasionally during busy week day periods on a risk assessed basis. 2. Any member of staff engaged in a security activity (as defined by paragraph 2(1)(a) of schedule 2 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001) shall be registered with the Security Industry Authority and shall clearly display his/her name badge at all times whilst on duty. 3. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public. 4. Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose. 5. When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the Authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to Environment and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used which should be suitable and adequate in size as the designated dance floor for the intended use, and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the Authority. 6. When appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public to respect the needs on the local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 7. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 8. No films or videos of any description will be shown so that they can be viewed by persons under the age of any applicable BBFC/Local Authority certification. 9. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times when the premises are open. CCTV images will be stored for 28 days. Police will be given access to the copies of images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 10. To comply with the reasonable requests of South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service. 11. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical power supply serving all amplified music equipment used for the purposes of live music. 12. A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided for the premises. 13. Floor surfaces in public areas and thoroughfares shall be suitable non-slip surfaces. 14. The varied premises licence shall not become effect until the Health Protection Service has inspected the premises with regard to the RCD, electrical certificate and any other matter raised during consultation period, to ensure that these items have been appropriately addressed in respect of service requirements. 15. The DPS or designated member of staff must take a pro active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using all external areas and manage noise levels internally so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive property. 16. All windows and doors shall be closed, except for access and egress, when regulated entertainment is present in the premises. 17. All ventilation outlets, which serve the licensed area, are to be installed with acoustic baffles and thereafter retained. 18. No amplified sound shall be played except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with sound limiter. The settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 19. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 20. No persons under the age of 18 years to be on the premises after 20:00 hours. 21. The premises will operate a "Challenge 21" scheme requiring proof of age identification from anyone who appears under the age of 21 before being served alcohol.
