ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. A professionally installed and maintained CCTV system will cover all key areas of the premsies, including entry points, the indoor space, and the beer garden. Footage will be recorded and stored for a minimum of 30 days and made available to the authorities upon request to assist with any investigations.
2. SIA-licensed security staff will be employed during late-night hours and other peak times to manage access to the premises, monitor patron behaviour, and prevent disturbances. Security personnel will conduct routine checks in the beer garden and monitor entry points to deter unauthorised access.
3. An incident logbook will be maintained on-site to document any reports of crime, disorderly behaviour, or complaints. This will include details of actions taken by staff to address these issues.
4. Alcohol will only be served to individuals over the legal drinking age, verified through strict enforcement of the Challenge 25 policy.
5. Staff will be trained to recognise signs of intoxication and will refuse service to any patron deemed overly intoxicated.
6. We will maintain open communication with local police and community groups to address any crime prevention concerns promptly and collaboratively.
7. Indoor and outdoor areas will be monitored to avoid overcrowding, Clear signage will display occupancy limits for both the building and the beer garden. During peak times, additional staff or security will be deployed to ensure that patrons are managed safely.
8. Amplified music and live performances will be restricted to the indoor areas to prevent noise disturbances to neighbouring properties. Sound levels will be managed through a noise-limiting system. The beer garden will be subject to strict noise controls, particularly during late-night hours, with staff monitoring the area to address any concerns promptly.
9. Notices will be prominetly displayed reminding patrons to leave the premsies quietly and respect local residents. Staff will engage with customers at closing time to encourage orderly and quiet dispersal.
10. Regular waste collection will be scheduled to avoid litter accumulation. Outdoor areas, including the beer garden, will be checked and cleared of litter frequently.
11. All staff willbe trained to identify vulnerable individuals, including minors, and to take appropriate actions to ensure their safety. Clear policies will also be in place to address situations involving unaccompanied minors or attempts by minors to purchase alcohol.

12. All doors and windows shall be closed, save for access and egress of the general public and/ or than in case of emergency, when amplified sound or live music is present in the premises.
13. Amplified sound or live music should only be played within the building such that:
(i) Noise breakout from the building to the street should not exceed the ambient* noise levels by more than 3 dB(A) when measured as a 15 minute LAeq;
(ii) Noise breakout from the building to the street should not exceed the ambient* noise levels in any octave band centre frequency by more than 3dB when measured as a 15 minute LZeq;
*Where ambient noise level is the LAeq, 15 mins in the absence of the specific noise source (breakout from the premises).
14. No speakers shall be fixed externally nor directed to broadcast sound outside the building at any time.
15. No amplified sound shall be played within the building except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiting facility capable of limiting the sound level output of the system to a pre-set level which may then be secured in a tamper-resistant manner, the design and settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service.
16. The premises licence holder shall prominently display A5 notices on all exits reminding patrons to leave the premises in a quiet and orderly fashion to respect the local neighbour’s needs.
17. The premises licence holder shall prominently display A5 notices in all external areas reminding patrons to be quite whilst using the facilities provided and respect the local neighbour’s needs.
18. The Premises Licence Holder shall submit for written approval by the Environmental Protection Service a Noise Management Plan providing details of operational procedures to protect the occupiers of nearby dwellings from noise of amplified sound, patrons in the external area, and dispersion. Such details shall include, inter alia, operational procedures, monitoring of customer activities, smoking and/ or consuming alcohol policy, good relationship with responsible taxi services, relevant signage, CCTV consideration, complaints handling procedure, practical policy of noise complaint monitoring, staff training relating to noise awareness etc.

19. An incident log shall be kept at the premises, and made available for inspection on request to an authorised officer of the Council or the Police, which will record the following:
(a) all crimes reported to the venue
(b) all ejections of patrons
(c) any complaints received
(d) any incidents of disorder
(e) all seizures of drugs or offensive weapons
(f) any faults in the CCTV system or searching equipment or scanning equipment
(g) any visit by a relevant authority or emergency service. Such records to be retained for at least 12 months and available for inspection on request.
20. There shall be a zero-tolerance policy in relation to drugs at the premises and there shall be regular checks to include the external perimeter and all internal areas, including toilets by management to prevent the use of drugs by patrons. Records of checks to be kept for 12 months and made available on request to the authorities. Drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the Police.
21. A CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times whilst the premises are open (in line with specification July 2020) . The CCTV images will be stored for 30 days and police and authorised officers of the council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder, in line with GDPR guidance. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system. CCTV systems installed after 2021 should be full digital systems with wide dynamic range IP cameras (WDR). The CCTV footage will be controlled and kept in a secure environment to prevent tampering or unauthorised viewing. A record will be kept of who has access the system, the reason why and when. The CCTV system will contain the correct time and date stamp information.
22. The use of glass alternative drinking vessels shall be utilised in accordance with the premises assessment of risk.
23. No customers carrying opened bottles upon entry shall be admitted to premises.
24. Staff will receive training concerning , but not limited to,
-Vulnerability awareness
-Crime scene preservation
-Drugs policies
-Underage sales/Challenge 25 scheme /Proxy Sales/Fake ID’s

-CCTV operation (authorised staff only)
-Dispersal Suitable refresher training to be completed at least once per calendar year commencing the year after their date of employment.
A written record to be retained for a minimum of 12 months and shall be made available to the Police and/or Licensing Authority upon request.
25. Customers are not permitted to utilise the external frontage of the premise for drinking or smoking purposes. Nominated member of staff to conduct regular checks of this area.
26. To acquire a suitable number of radio sets for the premises and to take the CCRAC Radio Scheme (City Centre Retails Against Crime) into use at all times when trading, and continue to be a user whilst this system is in use within Sheffield.
27. SIA door staff will be employed when operating during a first team men’s fixture at Bramall Lane Stadium. SIA staff will be present at least 2 hours prior to kick off until the end of trade. A minimum of 2 door staff positioned on entry to the premise. The use of security staff to be risk assessed at all other times.
28. The premise will clearly communicate their entry policy with regards football fans in a clear written format on entry and via the premises online platforms. Any change to this policy will be communicated to South Yorkshire Police at least 10 days prior to any amendments being made.
29. Clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting that the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
30. A copy of the South Yorkshire Police Violent Incident Protocol to be displayed within the premises, in sight of staff. This protocol should also form part of staff training and training records to reflect such input.
31. Persons under the age of 18 years are not permitted after 20:00 hours.
