Additional Conditions
1. The licensed areas shall operate only in conjunction with the use of the building as a Museum, Art Gallery, exhibition space, and for functions and other events. 2. The licensed areas shall be those areas licensed for the sale and/or consumption of intoxicating liquor outlined in red on the deposited plans as approved from time to time 3. Café/Restaurant (Ground Floor) When the Cafe/Restaurant is open to the public for the sale and consumption of intoxicating liquor: a. a capacity of 21 0 shall apply and b. a minimum of 60 seats must be provided 4. First Floor Hospitality Area a. The sale or supply of liquor for consumption of intoxicating liquor on the 1st floor shall be limited to guests to include the following (i) visitors to and participants in exhibitions or activities at the Gallery (ii) persons attending previews (iii) sponsors and their specially invited guests (iv) persons attending pre booked functions, pre arranged dinners, lunches, dances,receptions, conferences, seminars, lectures or other similar functions (v) directors, employees and bona fide guests of Sheffield Galleries and Museums Trust b. When the Cafe/Restaurant is open to the public for licensable activities a maximum capacity of 200 shall apply to the First Floor/Long Gallery hospitality area. c. The Avenue shall not be used as a licensed area when the building is open to the general public. General Conditions 5. When the cafe/Restaurantis closed to the public, the maxium capacity shall be 520 in total for the licensed area, except where the capacity shall be 800 persons if the event is ticketed or pre-booked with invited guests and the provision of adequate numbers of temporary toilet facilities are provided as agreed with the authority reponsible for public safety. 6. Smoking will be prohibited in the licensed area at all times, except on the external terrace. 7. Colour CCTV cameras shall be operated from positions advised by South Yorkshire Police and video tape recordings will be stored for such period as specified by them. 8. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children.
