Additional Conditions
1. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public. 2. Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose. 3. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical power supply serving all amplified music equipment used for the purpose of live music and other entertainment. 4. When regulated public dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to Environmental and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used, which should be suitable and adequate in size as the designated dance floor for the intended use and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the authority. 5. Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 6. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 7. No Films or videos of any description will be shown so that they can be viewed by any persons under the age of any applicable BBFC / Local Authority Certification. 8. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children, save for the use of authorised AWP machines.
Conditions following a Review of the premises licence effective from 11th August 2008: 1. The Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) will not be DPS or have any other management function at any other licensed premises 2. Save for days off and holidays, the DPS will be employed at the premises on a full-time basis. 3. The DPS for these premises must be a registered member of Sheffield Licence Watch. Annual membership and meeting attendance must be maintained. 4. A Colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times when the premises are open. CCTV images will be stored for 28 days. Police and Authorised Officers of the Council will be given access to the copies of images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 5. All staff will be trained in the use of the CCTV system in order that images can be immediately obtained by the police. 6. The Challenge 21 Scheme must be invoked at all times and posters / stickers to that effect must be clearly displayed. 7. All staff must be trained to operate the Challenge 21 Scheme and be provided with regular refresher training. Staff training records must be maintained and signed by staff and be made available to responsible authorities on request. 8. A refusals log detailing all refusals to sell alcohol to a person must be maintained. 9. An incident log detailing all incidents of note (exclusions, calls to the police, violent acts, threats to staff and customers, etc) must be maintained. 10. Signs shall be displayed prominently in relation to: Zero tolerance on drugs Zero tolerance on nuisance and disorderly behaviour The Challenge 21 Proof of Age Scheme The rules in relation to the supervision of children and the designated family area 11. The licensee must, at all times, have a current satisfactory electrical certificate, together with all relevant test results for the premises. The test must be in accordance with the current IEE Regulations and carried out by a competent person. The licensee has a period of two months from the date of the notice to provide to the Council, an initial satisfactory electrical certificate in respect of the premises. 12. A minimum of one member of staff must be assigned to act as Childrens Safeguarder at the premises. This role must be fulfilled in compliance with the guidance and training issued by the Safeguarding Children Board. 13. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times. 14. Persons under the age of 18 must vacate the premises by 20:00 hours unless dining or attending a private, pre-bookes family orientated function that is restricted to the designated function room/lounge to which the general public will not be granted access.
