Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 2. All existing CCTV will be maintained and in operation on the premises. 3. The DPS will be a member of the local Licence Watch (as long as it exists). 4. There will be a sensible drinking policy and training in place regarding restrictions on discounting and promotions and sale to persons under 18 and drunks. 5. Notices to be displayed for zero tolerance of any abusive behaviour towards staff or members of the public who resort on the premises. Violence or threatening behaviour will result in the authorities being notified. 6. There is external lighting of car parks and walkways. 7. Signs near the exits of the premises must clearly communicate that guests must respect the needs of local residents, and leave the premises quietly. 8. Except for access and egress, all windows and doors to remain closed when live or recorded music is played. 9. Delivery and collection times are not to be changed. 10. External background music to be turned off at 21:00. 11. The Designated Premises Supervisor, or some other such person, will be assigned to act as Childrens Safeguarder at the premises. 12. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted at the premises after 9pm unless dining or attending a pre-booked private function and accompanied by an adult. 13. The extension of hours of use for external areas are to apply to the front of the premises only, the rear outdoor area shall remain as per current restrictions. 14. Any new floor surfaces in public areas shall have a suitable non-slip finish. 15. A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided for the premises. 16. A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment. 17. The varied premises licence shall not become effective until the Health Protection Service have inspected the premises with regards to the electrical certificate/RCD/new floor surface, to ensure that theses items have been appropriately addressed in respect of service requirements. Any embedded permissions and restrictions attached to the justices on/off licence including those specified at Appendix 1. Specific conditions converted from the Public Entertainment Licence 1. Capacity The number of members of the public who may be present at any one time on the premises or in any part of such premises specified below shall not exceed: - Area Capacity Function Room 220 Lounge 180 Games Room 100 1) Where the Council is of the opinion that in order to avoid or reduce any disturbance of or annoyance to residents in the neighbourhood of the premises or the occurrence of disorderly conduct in the premises, it is desirable for the permitted hours specified in point (1) on page 1 of the licence, to be varied, the Council may, after affording the licensee the opportunity of making representations to the Council, by notice served on the licensee vary the permitted hours and thereafter the hours specified in the notice shall apply in substitution for the hours specified in sub-paragraph (1) above. 2) Windows and Fire Doors (except in an emergency) are to be kept closed in the games room and lounge areas during the times that public entertainment is taking place. 3) The licensee must take a pro-active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level and manage noise levels internally, so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive building. 4) A logbook must be kept recording when the above checks are made. 5) Should there be a noise nuisance the Local Authority reserve the right to ask for any reasonable works to be carried out to abate that nuisance. 6) Dancing is only permitted provided there is an adequate suitably sized dance floor.
1. There will be no drinking beyond midnight in the outside area of the premises, except with a designated smoking area, which shall be primarily used for smokers when smoking, and not for the general consumption of alcohol.
