Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 2. The event organizer shall seek to consult with the Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board Licensing Manager 28 days prior to each event, to ensure that adequate and appropriate safeguarding measures are in place for the protection of children from harm. 3. South Yorkshire Fire Service must be consulted prior to each event giving adequate notice to allow suitable and sufficient comment to be made. 4. A suitable and sufficient site specific fire risk assessment must be produced for each event. 5. The fire risk assessment must include: a) Access for emergency appliances b) Availability of water supplied and hydrants c) Adequate means of escape from fenced / secure areas d) Appropriate measures to ensure public safety. 6. Written notice detailing specifically the area to be permitted for the sale and consumption of alcohol, the proposed times (which may only be between the times permitted by the licence) for sale and consumption of alcohol and the proposed dates for sale and consumption of alcohol must be given for any proposed major events (capacity exceeding 499 persons at any one time) under this licence in writing to South Yorkshire Police Licensing Department and the Environment and Regulatory Services if possible at least six weeks in advance of the start date of any such event, or in any case a period of time to give adequate notice to allow suitable and sufficient comment to be made. All other licensable events under this licence with a capacity of less than 500 people, at least 14 days notice should be given. (Performances of busking: no notice is required to be given to Police or ERS, however written details (of the location dates and times and the name and address or the performer) must be kept by the City Centre licensee for a minimum of 12 months.) 7. S.Y. Fire and Rescue Service should be notified of any planning meetings as described in section P(b) of the application. 8. All events within the City Centre boundary to go through the City Centre licensees detailed events application procedure before permission for use of the site is granted. 9. Risk assessment and other event specific information including stewarding and policing proposals will be discussed at event planning meetings between the City Centre licensee (or his representatives) and responsible authorities, where appropriate. 10. Measures to control the retail of alcohol will be in agreement with Sheffield City Council and South Yorkshire Police and will form a condition of operation with particular reference to consumption off the premises. 11. Appropriate risk assessments are naturally undertaken and risk based organisational plans are to be produced where appropriate, including the provision of emergency first aid. 12. No alcohol will be sold to under 18s and proof of identity will be required. 13. Any area identified for the sale and consumption of alcohol within will be clearly marked so that it would be obvious it is set aside for the purpose of the consumption of alcohol during the relevant times. 14. A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided for the premises.
