Additional Conditions

1. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times whilst the premises are open. The CCTV images will be stored for 28 days and police and authorised officers of the council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. CCTV footage shall be downloaded and provided to South Yorkshire Police on request. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system. A copy of the specification dated January 2010 will be available at all times for inspection of the police and authorised officers. (see attachment) 2. A Challenge 25 scheme will operate at all times when the premises are open. 3. Use of doorstaff will be risk assessed on an ongoing basis by the licence holder, DPS or member of the management team. 4. Zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs. 5. Staff will receive training on matters concerning underage sales, drugs policies, and operating procedures. Records of such training will be kept and made available for inspection of the authorities. 6. Clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting that the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 7. An incident log shall be maintained and kept at the premises at all times. 8. Children under the age of 18 years are not permitted in the premises after 21.00 hours. 9. No glassware permitted on the front of the premises. 10. 1 member of SIA registered doorstaff will be employed on match days. 11. Member of staff will be assigned to ensure regular glass sweeps are conducted on a regular basis during match days. 12. All doors and windows shall be closed, save for access and egress, when amplified sound is present in the premises. 13. The DPS or designated member of staff must take a pro active approach to noise control, checking outside the premise to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using the external area and manage noise levels internally so as to be inaudible at the nearest noise sensitive property. 14. The premises licence holder shall prominently display A5 notices on all exits reminding patrons to leave the premises in a quite and orderly fashion to respect the local neighbours needs. 15. The premises licence holder shall prominently display A5 notices in all external areas reminding patrons to be quite whilst using the facilities provided and respect the local neighbours needs. 16. No amplified sound shall be played in the premises except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiter. The settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 17. Music should only be played within the building such that: (i) Noise breakout from the building to the street should not exceed the ambient* noise levels by more than 3 dB(A) when measured as a 15 minute LAeq; (ii) Noise breakout from the building to the street should not exceed the ambient* noise levels in any octave band centre frequency by more than 3dB when measured as a 15 minute Leq;. *Where ambient noise level is the LAeq, 15 mins in the absence of the specific noise source (breakout from the premises.) 18. An acoustic lobby shall be installed to the rear exit to the external area in accordance with the plans submitted in support of the new premises licence application. 19. The consumption of alcohol in the external area to the rear of the premises, shall cease at 01:00 hours on Friday and Saturday evenings. 20. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical power serving all amplified music equipment used for the purposes of live music. 21. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children, save for the use of authorised AWP machines.
