Additional Conditions
1. The premises are to maintain the existing CCTV system to cover both the interior and exterior of the building. The tapes are to be kept for a period of three months. 2. Security staff are to be brought in from an external security company when necessary. 3. The premises are to be kept alarmed. 4. There will be a zero tolerance towards drugs and drunkenness. 5. All members of staff are to be vetted and referenced. A number of Staff members are to be cleared to work with children 6. Staff are to be trained in evacuation procedures. 7. There is to be a qualified first aider and first aid boxes on site. 8. At events there will generally be a staff to public ratio of 1:12. 9. Risk assessments are to be carried out for all events which are attended by members of the public. 10. All members of staff are to be given health & safety training. 11. Access to the premises is to be supervised and a log kept of all people entering the radio station and those using the IT facilities. 12. Security at the premises is to be kept visible. 13. Guests are requested to leave the premises quietly, with BBC staff supervising their departure. 14. Windows and doors are kept closed to minimise noise escape. 15. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult unless they are supervised by a member of staff. 16. Staff are to be trained in the laws relating to children, where necessary. 17. Designated members of staff are experiences in and trained to deal specifically with children and school parties. 18. To comply with the reasonable requirements of South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service. 19. On any occasion when regulated entertainment takes place outside, where possible the applicant will give 14 days prior notice to the Environmental and Regulatory Services of Sheffield City Council. 20. On any occasion when Regulated Entertainment is provided at the premises and attended by more than 100 members of the public, the applicant will give 7 days prior notice to the relevant local authority responsible for Health and Safety to allow suitable and sufficient comment to be made where necessary.
