Additional Conditions

• 1. In line with Alcohol and Social Responsibility Policy there will be no promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption. 2. Managers are required to liaise with local neighbours as part of their duties and resolve any reasonable concerns in accordance with Mitchell’s and Butlers Role in the Community Guidelines. 3. No adult entertainment (paid for by the company of a nude physical nature) is permitted at these premises. 4. It is Mitchells & Butlers opinion that the nature of the operation will not lead to any increase in risk of the public safety. 5. Mitchells & Butlers will, at all times observe the law and ensure that alcohol is not served to people who are under 18 years of age. 6. The internal Health & Safety due diligence and incident reporting system will operate. .
• 1. A colour CCTV system will be installed in positions agreed with the Police and images stored for 31 days. The CCTV system shall be maintained inside the building and also within the curtliage of the site governed by the premises licence and shall be in use at all times the premises are open, with the Police being given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 2. When Sheffield Wednesday Football Club have a home game the Designated Premises Supervisor in consultation with South Yorkshire Police, on a match-by-match basis, to determine the provision of SIA qualified door staff required on duty. 3. Zero tolerance to be operated in relation to drugs both inside and outside the premises. All incidents to be reported to the police on the incident date and to be recorded in a log, which will contain sufficient details to identify that person. The logbook to be made available for inspection and duplication upon request of the Police or other authorised officer of the Licensing Authority. 4. No persons in possession of a drink in a sealed or unsealed container shall be allowed to enter the premises except for the purposes of delivery on match days and when condition (2) applies. Appropriate signage to be provided giving notice to patrons entering/exiting the premises. 5. No drinks to be permitted in the exterior area to the public bar entrance on Wadsley Lane after 23:00 hours. 6. The tables in the designated exterior smoking area to be fixed to the wall. 7. The premises are to operate the Challenge 21 scheme (or equivalent) requiring proof of age identification from anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 with appropriate signage to be in place at the premises. 8. No adult entertainment (paid for by the company or any private individual of a nude physical nature) is permitted at these premises. 9. New floor surfaces in public area and thoroughfares shall have and maintain a suitable non-slip finish to the satisfaction of the Head of Health Protection Service, Sheffield City Council. 10. A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided for the premises prior to opening. 11. Indoor sporting events shall be restricted to traditional pub games. 12. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment. 13. The Designated Premises Supervisor or designated member of staff must take a pro-active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using the external areas and manage noise levels internally so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive property. 14. The premises licence holder shall prominently display A4 notices on all exits reminding patrons to leave the premises in a quiet and orderly fashion to respect the local neighbours needs. 15. The Designated Premises Supervisor is required to actively participate in and support the local pub watch scheme (where active). 16. Text and/or pagers, where already used, will be used for any additional hours. 17. Toughened glass will continue to be used during any additional hours. 18. In line with the premises licence holder’s alcohol and social responsibility policy, there will be no promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption. 19. Managers are required to liaise with local neighbours as part of their duties and resolve any reasonable concerns in accordance with our ‘Role in the Community’ Guidelines. 20. Any children under 16 to remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult when using the premises (and/or exterior area); and 21. Staff are not allowed to be in sole supervision of children, which remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times. 22. The premises will prepare and implement a dispersal policy in conjunction with the Police for use at the premises at peak times and football events. The policy will be kept under review by both the management and the Police. 23. The new premises licence shall not become effective until the Health Protection Service have inspected the premises with regard to the electrical certificate, the RCD, floor surfaces and any other matter raised during the consultation period, to ensure that these items have been properly addressed in respect of service requirements.
