Additional Conditions
1. The Designated Premises Supervisor for these premises must be a registered member of Sheffield Licence Watch. Annual membership and meeting attendance should be maintained. 2. Every person shall be checked in accordance with the Challenge 21 scheme. Challenge 21 posters/stickers will be displayed at the bar area. 3. Alcohol should only be sold or supplied for consumption by any persons when: - (a) The vessel is taking part in a recognised trip, tour, or voyage, and only to bona-fide passengers. (b) The Vessel is moored at Victoria Quay, Sheffield and within the pre-defined quayside area. (c) Stationary at Don Valley Stadium or Tinsley Top Lock if that person is a bona-fide passenger. Such person can only consume that alcohol off the vessel if within its immediate vicinity at these two locations. Any other sales must be in sealed containers. 4. A recognised Proof Of Age Scheme, which is approved by the Responsible Authorities, must be operated and a refusals book maintained. 5. Staff must be trained to operate such a scheme as set out in condition 4 above and staff training records must be maintained. 6. When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the Authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to the Environmental and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used which should be suitable and adequate in size as the designated dance floor for the intended use, and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the Authority. 7. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving all amplified music equipment used for the purpose of live music. 8. A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided for the vessel. 9. New floor surfaces shall be suitable non-slip surfaces. 10. Safe access and egress to the vessel shall be provided. 11. The premises licence shall not become effective until the Health Protection Service have inspection the premises the regard to conditions 6-10 above and are satisfied that these have been addressed in accordance with service requirements. 12. There will be zero tolerance towards drugs, violence and disorder that will be covered in the booking conditions. 13. The vessel will be maintained to a high level of safety as required by the Marine and Coastguard Agency (MCA). 14. The vessel will carry adequate life saving and fire fighting equipment. All staff are to be trained to the required standard. 15. Procedures are to be in place to limit noise and nuisance factors when leaving and returning to base. 16. Notices are to be displayed on the vessel asking customers to be considerate and leave the vessel in a considerate and orderly manor. 17. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
