Additional Conditions
1. S.I.A volunteers will work in a rota shift system during the events times of regulated entertainment and sales of alcohol. 2. All customers will have a pre booked ticket. 3. Safety systems will be in place to include audible warnings, fire fighting, emergency lighting and site evacuation. 4. First Aid will be through trained first aiders within MAG and backed up by Red Cross members. 5. A constant monitoring for noise at the site perimeter will be undertaken. 6. Any person wishing to leave the premises will be asked by gate marshals to do so in a quiet and orderly fashion. Conditions agreed with Environmental Protection Service Planning for the Event: 7. The Designated Premises Supervisor / Promoter shall appoint a named person to co-ordinate noise issues, to the approval of the Environmental Protection Service, no later than 4 weeks prior to the event. The noise co-ordinator shall liaise between all parties Environmental Protection Service, DPS, Promoter, sound system suppliers, sound engineers and Licensing Authority, on all matters relating to noise control prior to and during the event. Prior to the Event: 8. A noise propagation test shall be undertaken with the Environmental Protection Service present, prior to the start of the event in order to set appropriate control limits at the sound mixer position. The sound system shall be configured and operated in a similar manner as intended for the event. The sound source used for the test shall be similar in character to the music mist likely to be produced during the event. 9. The noise co-ordinator shall ensure that prior to the event during any testing of equipment, minimum noise levels are emitted from the sound equipment to reduce to its lowest level any noise nuisance to local residents. During the Event: 10. The noise co-ordinator shall ensure that noise is monitored at the perimeter of the site (or other appropriate noise sensitive location) throughout the event, and at least during each different artist. 11. The noise co-ordinator shall comply with any request made by a nominated officer of the Environmental Protection Service to reduce or remix sound emanating from the amplification system. 12. Facilities shall be provided on the mixing desk, or other appropriate position, for a nominated officer of the Environmental Protection Service to monitor and where necessary secure a reduction in noise level to a reasonable level. Conditions agreed with Health Protection Service 13. The event shall be carried out fully in accordance with the event safety plan, which has been submitted with the application. 14. Any changes made to the operation of the event shall be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event taking place and licensed activities shall not take place unless the changes have been agreed by the Responsible Authorities. 15. The Responsible Authorities shall be informed of a site inspection date and time at least 7 days prior to the event starting date and any reasonable requirements towards event safety shall be complied with before any licensed activities take place. Conditions agreed with Safeguarding Children Board 16. The Challenge 21 Proof Of Age Scheme must be operated by all staff selling alcohol and a refusals book must be nominated. 17. Signage should be prominently displayed to remind adults responsible for accompanying children that they must supervise their children at all times.
