Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children, save for the use of authorised AWP machines. 2. The use of doorstaff will be risk assessed on an ongoing basis by the licence holder or premises supervisor. Where engaged, door staff shall be licensed by the Security Industry Authority. 3. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public. Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in and external area provided for that purpose. 4. Staff will receive training on matters concerning underage sales, drug policies, and operating procedures. 5. There shall be a zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs at the premises and there shall be regular checks by management to prevent the use of drugs by patrons. Drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the police. 6. The management of the premises will liaise with the Police on issues of local concern or disorder. 7. A CCTV system shall be intalled with recording facilities such recording shall be retained for a period of 28 days and made available within a reasonable time upon request by the Police. 8. The premises will have adequate safety and fire fighting equipment and such equipment will be maintained in good operational order. 9. Staff will be trained on matters of safety, evacuation and use of emergency equipment as required. 10. Spillages and breakages will be removed as soon as possible to reduce the risk to patrons and staff. 11. Fire exits and means of escape shall be kept clear and in good operational condition. 12.Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 13. Patrons will be encouraged by staff to leave quietly and respect the interests of the occupiers of any nearby noise sensitive premises. Where appropriate the licensee or a suitable staff member will monitor patrons leaving at closing time. 14. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 15. No films or videos of any description will be shown so that they can be viewed by persons under the age of any applicable BBFC/Local Authority certificate. 16. Children under the age of 16 shall not be permitted to enter or remain at the premises after 21:00 hours unless they are dining with a responsible adult or attending a private, pre booked family orientated function and accompanied by a responsible adult. 17. The challenge 25 scheme shall operate in compliance with the partnership guidance provided by South Yorkshire Police, Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board & Sheffield Trading Standards. 18.A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided for the premises. 19.A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment. 20.When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the Authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to Environment and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area used which should be suitable and adequate in size as the designated dance floor for the intended use and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the authority. 21.Indoor sporting events shall be restricted to traditional games. 22.Carry out additional works to the handrail, treads and bulkhead of the existing spiral staircase to improve safety.
