Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises except for the use of authorised gaming machines. 2. A copy of the current Club rules shall be available for inspection at the premises during opening hours. 3. Public access to the Club premises shall be limited to members of the London Road Club, their bona fide guests, or persons attending a private pre-booked function at the premises and guests of the person(s) hosting the event. 4. The use of door staff will be risk assessed on an on going basis by the licence holder or premises supervisor. Where engaged, door staff shall be licensed with the Security Industry Authority. 5. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any time the premises are open to the public. Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose. 6. Staff will receive training on matters concerning underage sales, drugs policies, and operating procedures. 7. There shall be a zero tolerance in relation to drugs at the premises and there shall be regular checks by management to prevent the use of drugs by patrons. Drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the Police. 8. The management of the premises will liaise with Police on issues of local concern or disorder. 9. The premises will support the local pub watch scheme where such scheme is in operation. 10. A suitable CCTV system shall be installed with recording facilities, such recordings shall be retained for a period of 31 days and made available within a reasonable time upon request by the Police. 11. Any drinks promotions shall not be inconsistent with the need to promote responsible drinking. 12. To comply with the reasonable requirements of the Fire Officer. 13. The premises will have adequate safety and fire fighting equipment and such equipment will be maintained in good operational order. 14. Staff will be trained on matters of safety, evacuation and use of emergency equipment as required. 15. Spillages and breakages will be removed as soon as possible to reduce the risk to patrons and staff. 16. Fire exits and means of escape shall be kept clear and in good operational condition. 17. Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 18. Patrons will be encouraged by staff to leave quietly and respect the interests of the occupiers of any nearby noise sensitive premises. Where appropriate the licensee or a suitable staff member will monitor patrons leaving at closing time. 19. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 20. Indoor sporting events shall be restricted to traditional pub type games. 21. The Challenge 25 scheme will operate including the maintenance of a refusals log, prominent display of signage to the public and staff training records. Staff training will include how to identify and manage the risk of proxy purchase. 22. Persons under the age of 18 years are not permitted at any time unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult and dining, or attending a pre booked private family type function. 23. A responsible member of staff will be assigned to act as lead for safeguarding children systems at the premises. This person should act in compliance with the guidance and training provided by the Safeguarding Children Board.
