Additional Conditions
1. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times the premises are open. CCTV will be fitted in all priveat booths. The CCTV images will be stored for 31 days and police and authorised officers of the council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system. A copy of the specification dated January 2010 will be made available at all times for inspection of the police and authorised officers. 2. A copy of the SYP Violent Incident Protocol is to be displayed within the premises, in sight of staff. This protocol should also form part of staff training and training records to reflect such input. 3. All staff and the Premises Licence Holder shall be trained in the operation of the Challenge 25 Scheme and how to manage confrontation, staff training records must be maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority and made available to officers of the Responsible Authorities and Licensing Authority upon request. 4. Zero drugs tolerance posters / signage is to be prominently displayed throughout the premises. 5. All incidents, including refusals to sell alcohol, shall be recorded in an incident book. The book shall be made available for inspections by authorised officers from the Police and Licensing Authority upon request. 6. At the point of entry to the premises, a Challenge 25 proof of age scheme must be operated in compliance with the multi agency guidance issued by the Safeguarding Children Board, Police and Trading Standards. 7. Signage must be displayed at points of entry that persons under the age of 18 are prohibited and that the Challenge 25 scheme operates. 8. All employees, volunteers or entertainers must be aged 18 years or over. A record of each employees name, address, national insurance number, photograph and date of birth will be retained and these details must be checked and verified by the premises manager or premises licence holder, against other recognised forms of identity (passport; photo-driving licence). These records must be retained at the premises for a minimum of 12 months from the date of employment and made available to officers of Responsible Authorities on request. 9. Persons re-entering the premises must be subject to the same security and identity checks as customers first entering the premises at any given period of trade. 10. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical power serving all amplified music equipment used for the purposes of Karaoke. 11. The service of alcohol shall be via a waiter or waitress service only. 12. A satisfactory commercial electrical certificate must be provided for the premises. 13. The Licence Holder / DPS shall be a memeber of Pub Watch. 14. All doors and windows shall be closed, save for access and egress, when regulated entertainment is present in the premises. 15. The DPS or designated member of staff must take a pro active approach to noise control, checking outside the premise to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using the external area and manage noise levels internally so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive property. 16. The premises licence holder shall prominently display A4 notices on all exits reminding patrons to leave the premises in a quite and orderly fashion to respect the local neighbours needs. 17. The premises licence holder shall prominently display A4 notices in all external areas reminding patrons to be quiet whilst using the facilities provided and that they are in close proximity to residential accommodation. 18. A Personal Licence Holder will be present on the premises at all times when open to the public.
1. The emptying of bottle bins is to be restricted to between midday and 18:00 hours daily. 2. The holder of the premises licence shall nominate a member of staff to remove and dispose of any litter, on a daily basis from outside the premises, which has originated from the premises. 3. No alcohol is to be removed from the premises in open or closed containers.
