Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 2. Staff involved in the sale of alcohol will receive training on matters concerning under age sales, and operating procedures. 3. The premises will operate an approved proof of age scheme and will require photographic identification from any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years. Suitable signage will be displayed at the premises 4. A refusal book will be maintained at the premises and will be available to responsible authority representatives upon reasonable request. 5. The management of the premises will liase with the police on issues of local concern or disorder. 6. A suitable CCTV system will be installed and will be maintained at the premises, recordings made by this system shall be retained for 30 days and made available to the police upon receipt of reasonable notice. 7. The use of door supervisors will be risk assesed on an ongoing basis by the licence holder or premises supervisor. Where engaged, door staff shall be licensed by the Security Industry Authority. 8. Staff will be trained on matters of safety, evacuation and use of emergency equipment as required. 9. The premises licence holder will comply with the reasonable requirements of the Fire Officer from time to time. 10. Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quitely. 11. Patrons will be encouraged by staff to leave quitely and respect the interests of the occupiers of any nearby noise sensitive premises. 12. There shall be adequate controls in place including staff training to safeguard against the sale of alcohol to persons under 18 years. 13. Policies in relation to children shall be adequately communicated to patrons by staff or through appropriate signage. 14. A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided. 15. A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment for live music and D.J. 16. Amplified sound or live music shall only be played within the building in such a way that noise breakout to the nearest noise sensative properties does not exceed: i. background noise levels by more than 3dBA when measured as a 15 LAeq. ii. any octave band centre frequency by more than 3dbB when measured as a 15 minute Leq. 17. Children under 14 shall be excluded from the roof area and children over 14 shall be accompanied by an adult. 18. When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the Authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to Enivironment and Regulatory Services ( Health Protection Service ) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used, which should be suitable and adequate in size as the designated dance floor for the intended use, and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the authority. 19. The premises licence shall not become effective until the Health Protection Service has inspected the premises with regard to the electrical certificate, RCD, floor surfaces and any other matter raised during the consultation period to ensure that these items have been appropriately addressed in respect of service requirements.
