Additional Conditions

• 1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 2. A Colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times when the premises are open. CCTV images will be stored for 31 days. Police will be given access to the copies of images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 3. A copy of the South Yorkshire Police Violent Incident Protocol to be displayed within the premises, in sight of staff. This protocol should also form part of staff training and training records to reflect such point. 4. Entry to the premises to new customers will not be permitted after 04:00 hours. After this time, entry shall only be allowed to established members of the club. New applications for membership cannot be processed on the night when entry is sought. 5. Polycarbonate drinking vessels are to be used at the venue on a management risk assessed basis and through negotiation upon police advice. This most likely to mean, for example, use of polycarbonates perhaps at busy weekend times or periods, or when risk assessed by management due to the customers profile or likely demeanour. 6. The Designated Premises Supervisor or other suitable person shall be a registered member of Sheffield Licence Watch. Annual membership and meeting attendance shall be maintained. 7. There shall be a zero tolerance drugs policy at the premises and there shall be a suitability secure ‘drop box’ for any illegal substances or items confiscated from customers. Seized items will be handed to the South Yorkshire Police. 8. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public. The premises shall operate a policy preventing customers from removing alcoholic and other drinks from the premises in open containers. 9. Security staff will wear high visibility clothing (selected in liaison with South Yorkshire Police) inside and outside the venue at all times in an effort to reduce incidents of violence. 10. The premises will comply with the South Yorkshire Police Security Staff protocol currently in existence as at 4th September 2009. 11. Children under the age of 18 are prohibited at all times and signage will be prominently displayed at the premises to highlight this. 12. Staff will be trained to operate a recognised proof of age scheme, including a refusals register and staff training records will be maintained and made available to the authorities for inspection upon request. 13. No amplified sound shall be played within the building except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiter, the settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 14. Clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 15. Signs shall be placed outside the venue and in any ‘smoking’ area, reminding patrons that they are close to residential accommodation and should be quiet whilst using the facilities. 16. All doors and windows shall be closed, except for access and egress, when regulated entertainment is present in the premises. 17. The DPS or designated member of staff must take a pro active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using external areas and manage noise levels internally so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive property. 18. The applicant or any person purchasing these premises must liaise with and fully comply with the reasonable requirements of the responsible authority towards public safety in the fit out/building of the premises. 19. A Building Regulation Completion Certificate shall be submitted to the Responsible Authority towards public safety by 31st January 2010. 20. The Premises Licence Holder shall work closely with the Local Police and Licensing Authority, keeping good communication with both Authorities.
• Conditions added after Summary Review in effect from 21.08.2014 1. An ID scanning system must be installed and maintained to record persons entering the premises. The system should meet the requirements of South Yorkshore Police. 2. All persons shall on entry, and re-entry be scanned with a hand held metal detecting device. 3. Glass collectors shall wear high visibility clothing at all times the premises is open to the public. 4. The premises shall adopt a Challenge 25 age verification policy and staff shall be trained in respect of this policy. Any person who appears to be under the age of 25 shall be asked to produce ID to prove they are over the age of 18; and the only forms of acceptable ID shall be a photo driving licence, passport, ID card bearing the PASS logo in holographic format or Military ID.
