Additional Conditions
1)All doors and windows shall be closed, save for access and egress, when regulated entertainment is present in the premises. 2)All ventilation outlets that serve the licensed area are to be installed with acoustic baffles and thereafter retained. 3)No amplified sound shall be played except through an in house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiter. The settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 4)New floor surfaces in public areas and thoroughfares shall have a suitable non-slip finish. 5)A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided for the premises. 6)Indoor sporting events shall be restricted to traditional pub games 7)The new premises licence shall not become effective until the Health Protection Service have inspected the premises with regard to the floor surfaces, RCD, electrical certificate and any other matter raised during the consultation period, to ensure that all items raised by Health Protection Service have been properly addressed in respect of service requirements. 8)Live music shall be restricted to DJ and Karaoke. 9)The number of persons at any given time to be restricted to 80. 10) Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose. 11) The premises licence holder shall prominently display A5 notices in all external areas of the premises requesting patrons to be quiet whilst using the facilities provided and reminding them that they are in a residential area.
1. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police, will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times the premises are open, the CCTV images will be stored for 28 days and Police and Authorised Officers of the Council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 2. The Premises Licence Holder and all persons working at the premises shall be fully trained in the use of the CCTV system in order that images can be immediately obtained by Police and Authorised Officers of the Council. 3. A copy of the South Yorkshire Police Violent Incident protocol is to be displayed in the premises and staff shall be trained on the protocol. 4. The premises licence holder shall nominate a member of staff to remove from outside the premises and dispose of litter originating from the business. 5. The DPS for these premises must be a registered member of Sheffield Licence Watch and Annual membership and meeting attendance must be maintained. 6. The DPS or other designated staff member shall take a proactive approach to noise control ensuring there is no nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive property by checking outside the noise from patrons using external areas and managing noise levels internally. 7. Signs shall be placed near the exits of premises that request patrons to leave quietly and respect the needs of local residents. 8. The premises licence holder shall ensure there is zero tolerance on illegal drug use and there shall be regular checks of the management for this purpose. Any drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the police at the earliest opportunity. Written records will be maintained of all drugs seizures and challenges and made available for inspection by the relevant authorities. 9. The power supply for all electrical equipment used for the amplification of music shall have an RCD fitted. 10. There shall be no entertainment at the premises involving nudity or of an adult nature. 11. The Challenge 21 proof of age Scheme promoted by the Government must be operated at all times at the premises and must include the use of a refusals book. 12. All staff and the Premises Licence Holder shall be trained in the operation of the Challenge 21 Scheme and how to manage confrontation, and staff training records must be maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority and made available to officers of the Responsible Authorities and the Licensing Authority on request. 13. Appropriate signage must be displayed and maintained within the premises to promote the Challenge 21 Scheme. 14. Any person under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
