Additional Conditions

• 1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children, save for the use of authorised AWP machines. 2. The external area will be inspected every 30 minutes after sunset. 3. The internal and external noise levels will be monitored. 4. Door will be kept closed except for access and egress. 5. Children must be off the premises by 19:00 hours. 6. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times whilst the premises are open. The CCTV images will be stored for 31 days and police and authorised officers of the council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system. A copy of the specification dated January 2010 will be available at all times for inspection of the police and authorised officers.(see attachment) 7. A copy of the South Yorkshire Police Violent Incident Protocol to be displayed within the premises, in sight of staff. This protocol should also form part of staff training and training records to reflect such input. 8. No person shall be allowed to leave the premises other than to use the designated outside/external smoking area whilst in possession of any drinking vessel or open glass bottle, whether empty or containing any beverage. 9. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any time the premises are open to the public. 10. To acquire a suitable number of radio sets for the premises and to take the CCRAC Radio Scheme (City Centre Retails Against Crime) into use at all times when trading, and continue to be a user whilst this system is in use within Sheffield. 11. There shall be a zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs at the premises and there shall be regular checks by management to prevent the use of drugs by patrons. Drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the police; records will be kept of seizures and challenges and made available for inspection of the authorities. 12. Staff will receive training on matters concerning underage sales, drugs policies, and operating procedures. Records of such training will be kept and made available for inspection of the authorities. 13. Any person exercising a security activity (as defined by paragraph 2 (a) of schedule 2 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001) shall be licensed by the Security Industry Authority. Such a person shall be employed at the premises at the discretion of the Designated Premises Supervisor / holder of the Premises Licence. Any person defined in this section shall clearly display their name badge at all times whilst on duty. 14. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult and are only permitted between 09:00 hours and 19:00 hours daily unless employed by the company. 15. Clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting that the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 16. Signs shall be placed inside the venue (preferably in the lobbies near the external door, in external areas and in any ‘smoking’ area, reminding patrons that they are close to residential accommodation and should be quiet while using the facilities. 17. All doors and windows shall be closed, except for access and egress, when regulated entertainment is present in the premises. 18. The DPS or a designated member of staff must take a pro active approach to noise nuisance control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using external areas and manage noise levels internally to prevent causing a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive property. 19. The sound attenuation scheme at the premises should: Be capable of restricting noise breakout from the premises to the street to levels not exceeding: (i) the background levels by more than 1 dB(A) when measured as 15 minute LAeq, (ii) any octave band centre frequency by more than 1dB when measured as 15 minute linear Leq. 20. Noise transfer to the flats above should be restricted to Bedrooms: Noise Rating Curve NR25 (23:00 to 0700 hours) Living Rooms: Rating Curve NR35 (0700 to 23:00 hours) (Noise Rating Curves to be achieved for every measurement period when measured as 15 minute linear Leq at the octave band centre frequencies 63 kHz to 8kHz*) 21. Acoustic seals shall be fitted and maintained at all times to all designated fire doors and frames within the premises to the satisfaction of Sheffield City Council. 22. All tables and chairs in the external area to the front of the premises are to be removed at 23:00 hours seven days a week. 23. The consumption of alcohol in the external area is to cease at 22:30 hours seven days a week. 24. A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment. 25. When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the Authority at least 14 days notice must be given to Environment and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area used which should be suitable and adequate in size as the designated dance floor for the intended use and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the authority. 26. A walk by staff of both sides of Holly Street (between West Street and Trippet Lane) and the frontage of Anglo Works (both sides of Trippet Lane)will be made twice a day. Empty bottles, litter and glasses will be picked up and quietly disposed of, within the new premises. 27.Any spillages, food debris and obvious urination points will be sanitised and cleaned up as appropriate. 28. Persons under the age of 18 years are not permitted on the premises after 19:00 hours. There shall be no teenage discos.
