Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children, save for the use of authorised AWP machines and cigarette machines. 2 To comply with the reasonable requests of South Yorkshire Fire ad Rescue Service. 3 All emergency exits are to be clearly marked and illuminated. 4 Signs will be placed inside the premises requesting that customers vacate the premises quitely at the end of the night. 5 The premises will have a scheme of managed and gradual customer departure. 6 The fire exit doors shall only be used as an emergency exit and shall nnot at any other time be left standing open. 7 There will be no windows or doors left open except for access and egress whilst the premises are in operation. 8 An existing acoustic fence and balustrade with non-transparent glazed panels to the external desk wll be maintained. This should only be accessed for maintenance purposes. 9 Existing sound attenuation works shall be maintained at site. Amplified sound shall only be played within the building in sich a way that noise breakout to the street does not exceed: - Background noise levels by more than 3dBA when measured as a 15 minute LAeq. - Any octave band centre frequency by more than 3dB when measured as a 15 minute LAeq 10 There will be window openings on the elevation facing Neill Road. 11 There will be no customers access/egress from (except in an emergency) the premises from and to Neill Road, neither will there be any deliveries to the premises from Neill Road. 12 Subject to any necessary permissions, signs shall be placed outside the venue in any 'smoking area', reminding patrons that they are close to residential accomodation and should be quiet whilst using the facilities. 13 The DPS or designated member of staff shall take a proactive approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensire that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using external areas and managing noise levcels internally to prevent a nuisance being caused to the nearet noise sensitive property. 14 There shall be no admittance of new customers after midnight on Tuesday to Saturdays. 15 All persons under 18 years of age to be accompanied by an appropriate adult. 16 A colour CCTv system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times that the premises are open. The CCTV images will be stored for 31 days and police and authorised officers of the Council will be given access to images for the purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. Members of the management team will be trained in use of the system. CCTV will be employed both inside and outside the premises. 17 The PRemises Licence holder shall install and maintain a sound limiting device at the premises controlling all amplified sound with the licensed premises. The limiter will be set in conjunction with the Sheffield Environmental Protection Service. The system shall be installed in such a way as to be tamper proof; no alterationsto the system shall be made without the consent of the Sheffield Environmetal Protection Service. The limiter shall be set restricting noise breakout from the first fllor of the building and access to the street to levels not exceeding: - the background noise levels by more that 3 dB(A)when measure as a 15 minute LAeq, - any octave band centre frequency by more than 3 dB when measured as a 15 minute Leq. 18 Substantial food shall be available throughout the premsies from opening until 22:00 hours daily. 19 With the exception of loose furniture associated with the booths and bar stools, all remaining loose furniture depicted on deposited plans shall remain in the indicated positions throughout the trading period. Such furnishings can be cleared to facilitate a pre-booked private function; in such instances the furniture can be re-distributed to accommodate the event and shall be reinstated thereafter. Furniture disturbs as part of the normal course of trading by customers will not consitute a breach of this condition.
1 Quarterly Scheduled meetings shall be arranged between members of the management team for the premises and both: (i) The Sharrowvale Community Association (ii) The Botantical Area Community Association (For the avoidance of doubt if in any given quarter all parties are in agreement that there are no issues or matters to be discussed between then at this time then it shall not be a breach of this condition for the parties to collectively agree to dispense with the need for a meeting where it is deemed to be unnecessary for a meeting to be held on this particular occasion.) 2 It is further recommended by the Licensing Subcommittee that: Environmental Health pfficers be requewsted to visit the Premises within three months of the commencement of its operation in order to check levels of noise breakout emanating from the Premsises. 3. The Designated Premises Supervisor or a staff member will be a member of the local 'Licence Watch'. 4 There will be movement, sorting or removal of waster bottles, material or other articles nor movement of skips bins outside the building between 22:00 and 08:30 hours Monday to Saturday and 22:00 and 09:00 Sunday and Bank Holidays. No deliveries to the building to be carried out between those hours. 5 The Challenge 21 proof of age scheme promoted by the Government must be operated at all times at the premises and must inckude the use of a refusals book. 6 All staff and the Premsies Licence Holder shall be trained in the operation of the Challange 21 Scheme and how to manage confrontation and staff training records must be maintained to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority and made available to officer of the Responsible Authroities and the Licence Authority on request.
