Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 2. A satisfactory electrical certificate shall be provided. 3. A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment for live music and DJ. 4. Suitable and sufficient measures shall be undertaken to ensure safety before indoor sporting events take place. 5. When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the Authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to Envrionment and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used, which should be suitable and adequate in size as the designated dance floor for the intended use, and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the Authority. 6. The premises licence shall not become effective until the Health Protection Service has inspected the premises in relation to matters discussed at the consultation period and are satisfied that these items have been addressed in accordance with the Code of Practice and Guidance Notes for Establishment and Operation of Licensed Premises. 7. The Challenge 25 age verification scheme must operate in compliance with the guidance issued by South Yorkshire Police, Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board and Trading Standards. 8. A suiatable member of staff must be assigned as 'Children's Safeguarder'. This person must act in compliance with the guidance and training provided by the Sheffield Safeguardig Children Board. 9. A children and young people risk assessment will be completed and retained as part of the due diligence records and made available to the relevant authorities on request. 10. A child protection policy will operate in relation to educational or childcare activities. 11. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted in adult gambling areas at any time. 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and are not permitted in bar area or family gambling areas after 21:30 hours. 13. No amplified sound or music is to be provided in outside area of the premises at any time. 14. The premises licence holder shall prominently display notices on all exits reminding patrons to leave the premises in a quiet and orderly fashion and to respect the local neighbours' needs. 15. All doors and windows shall be closed, save for access and egress, from 22:00 hours onwards when regulated entertainment is present within the premises. 16. The DPS or a designated member of staff must take a pro active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using external areas, and manage noise levels internally and externally so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearby noise sensitive properties. 17. No amplifed sound shall be played except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiter, the settings of which shall have received the prior witten approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 18. A CCTV system will be installed and maintained whilst the premises are operating.
