Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 2. All evening events must be supervised by security staff. 3. All events would have an individual risk assesment verified by the designated Health and Safety Officer. 4. Neighbouring properties must be informed in the case of large, late night events. 5. All must members of staff and volunteers must have current CRB checks. 6. Parents and guardians must give consent for children to attend events unaccompanied. 7. Challenge 21 scheme must be in operation. 8. There is provision for age restricted events. 9. The electrical supply serving amplified music equipment for live music must be protected with a residual current device (RCD). For buildings the RCD must be permanently fixed. 10. Suitable and sufficient measures shall be undertaken to ensure safety before any licensed activity takes place on the premises. 11. All events will be planned and operated in compliance with the guidance issued by the Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board ('Guidance for Best Practice: Safeguarding Children at Events) this process will be audited by the person(s) responsible for the event and written records maintained. 12. Staff will be trained in their responsibilities in relation to the protection of children under the Licensing Act 2003 and training records will be maintained. 13. A minimum of one member of staff shall be designated to the role of 'Children's Safeguarder' and will be assigned to duty at events involving children and young people. This person must lead on safeguarding issues at the event and act in compliance with the training and guidance provided by the Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board and be familiar with the children and young people's risk management plan for the event.
