Additional Conditions
1. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times the premises are open. CCTV images will be stored for 28 days. The Police will be given access to, and copies of images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. CCTV footage shall be downloaded and provided to the South Yorkshire Police on request. 2. Persons shall only be allowed to remove drinks from the premises in sealed containers. 3. Any person exercising a security activity (as defined by paragraph 2 (1) (a) of schedule 2 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001) shall be licensed by the Security Industry Authority. 4. Such a person will be employed at the premises at the discretion of the designated premises supervisor / holder of the premises licence. 5. Any such person referred to in condition (4) shall be linked by means of text or radio pager to the police enabling the police to be alerted to instances of crime and/or disorder (where required). 6. Any person defined in condition (4) will clearly display their name badge at all times whilst on duty. 7. No customers carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public. 8. Toughened glasses shall be used for draft beer and lager at all times the premises are open to the public. 9. The maximum occupancy of the ground floor (Barcentro) will be restricted to 400 persons. 10. The maximum occupancy of the first floor (Breeze) will be restricted to 520 persons. 11. To comply with the reasonable requirements of the fire officer from time to time. 12. To comply with the reasonable requirements of the building control officer. 13. Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits, requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 14. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as not to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 15. No person under the age of 18 years is permitted on the premises after 20:00 hours, save for those attending a bona fide pre-booked family orientated function on the first floor (Stardust Bar). 16. Children attending a function referred to in condition 15, must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years. Door staff will monitor the entrance to the function to enforce this. 17. All pre-booked functions must have a nominated Childrens Safeguarder on site for the duration of the event. Any embedded permissions and restrictions attached to the justices on/off licence including those specified at Appendix 1. Specific conditions converted from the Public Entertainment Licence 1. Capacity The number of members of the public who may be present at any one time on the premises or in any part of such premises specified below shall not exceed: - Area Capacity Ground Floor (Cutlers) 400 First Floor (Stardust) 520 2. The licensee shall maintain at the premises a register containing the following details of all persons present on the premises during Public Entertainments whose duties wholly or mainly consist of the direction or control of the members of the public. The details of each person shall be entered prior to that person commencing such duties and shall not be deleted from the register for a period of twelve months from the last date upon which that person carried out such duties. The details of each person required to be kept are: full name and address, date of birth, photograph, physical description and description of duties at the premises. 3. The licensee shall also keep a record showing which registered person(s) are working at the premises on each occasion the premises are open for the purpose of Public Entertainment. This record is to be kept at the premises for a period of not less than twelve months. 4. The register and record shall be open for inspection at any time by any Police Officer or Authorised Officer of the Council. 5. The Licensee shall only permit staff registered by the Security Industry Authority to be engaged in duties which wholly or mainly consist of: (a) deciding on the suitability of persons to be allowed on the premises and/or (b) maintaining order on the premises. 6. Dancing by members of the public shall not be permitted on the ground floor of the premises. 7. A policy/written procedure must be in place regarding the control of the capacity of the premises.
