Additional Conditions

• 1. Adult entertainment or services, activities,other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises will be assessed on an event by event basis with appropriate steps taken to address any concerns. 2. Notice must be given for any proposed major events (Capacity exceeding 499 persons at any one time) under the licence in writing to South Yorkshire Police, Sheffield City Council Licensing Authority, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Environmental and Regulatory Service, if possible, at least six weeks in advance of the start date of any such event to allow suitable and sufficient comment to be made. All other licensable events under this licence with capacity less than 499 people, at least 14 days notice should be given. 3. No more than 3 events will take place in any calender year under this Premises Licence. 4. The Premises Licence Holder will ensure a comprehensive risk assessment/management plan is carried out and prepared prior to each event. 5. The use of door supervisors will be risk assessed for each event by the Premises Licence Holder or Designated Premises Supervisor. 6. Staff will receive training on matters concerning underage sales, drug policies and operating procedures. 7. There shall be a zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs at the premises and there shall be regular checks by management to prevent the use of drugs by patrons. Drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the police. 8. The premises will operate a proof of age scheme and will require photographic identification from any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years. 9. Where CCTV is installed with recording facilities, such recordings shall be retained for a period of 31 days and made available within a reasonable time upon request by the police. 10. A suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment should be provided to cover each major event to be staged. 11. South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service shall be notified of any planning meetings for major events. 12. The premise will have adequate safety and fire fighting equipment available for the duration of events and such equipment will be maintained in good operational order. 13. Staff will be trained on matters of safety, evacuation and use of emergency equipment as required. 14. Toughened glasses will be used during events where appropriate. 15. Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at appropriate places throughout the premises requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and that they leave the premises and area quietly. 16. Patrons will be encouraged by staff to leave quietly and respect the interests of the occupiers of any nearby noise sensitive premises. Where appropriate the licensee or a suitable staff member will monitor patrons leaving at closing time. 17. The premises supervisor or appointed staff member shall ensure that when children are admitted to the events held under this premises licence that their presence is not inconsistent with the style of operation of the premises at that time and the licensable activities that are been carried out. 18. Policies in relation to children shall be adequately communicated to patrons by staff or through appropriate signage. 19. A children and young peoples risk assessment will be undertaken in line with the guidance issued by the Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board (Licensing Project). 20. Risk assessment and other event specific information including stewarding and policing proposals will be discussed at event planning meetings between the licensee (or representatives) and relevant responsible authorities where appropriate. 21. On no more than 3 individual occasions per calendar year, regulated entertainment (Outdoors) is permitted untill 04:00 hours. The aforementioned is provided the Premises Licence Holder shall operate a silent disco or an alternative silent solution or be inaudible at the site boundary and shall have received the written approval of the Environmental Protection Service, 28 days prior to the event being held. 22. The Designated Premises Supervisor/Promoter shall appoint a named person to co-ordinate noise issues, to the approval of Environmental Protection Service, no later than 4 weeks prior to the event. The noises co-ordinator shall liase between all parties (Environmental Protection Service, Designated Premises Supervisor, Promoter, sound system suppliers, sound engineers and Sheffield City Council Licensing Authority)on all matters relating to noise control prior to and during the event. 23. A noise propagation test shall be undertaken with the Environmental Protection Service present, prior to the start of the event in order to set appropriate control limits at the sound mixer position. The sound system shall be configured and operated in a similar manner as intended for the event. The sound source used for the test shall be similar in character to the music most likely to be produced during the event. 24. The noise co-ordinator shall ensure prior to the event, during any testing of equipement, minimum noise elvels are emitted from the sound equipement to reduce to its lowest level any noise nuisance to local residents. 25. The premises Licence Holder shall ensure that sound testing is only carried out between the hours of 10:00 hours and 19:00 hours and is of the shortest duration practicable. 26. The noise co-ordinator shall ensure that noise is monitored at the perimeter of the siteor other appropriate noise sensitive location throughout the event and at least during each different artist. 27. The noise co-ordinator shall comply with any request made by a nominated officer of the Environmental Protection Service to reduce or remix sound emanating from the amplification system. 28. Facilities shall be provided on the mixing desk(s), or other appropriate position(s), for a nominated officer of the Environmental Protection Service to monitor and where necessary secure a reduction in noise level to a reasonable level. 29. All doors and windows shall be closed, save for access and egress, when regulated entertainment is present in the premises.
