ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children.
2. A CCTV system will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times whilst the premises are open. The CCTV images will be stored for 31 days and police and authorised officers of the council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system. Any footage requested by a Police Officer or Council Licensing Enforcement Officer. shall be made available in any event within 24 hours.
3. The Challenge 25 scheme shall be in operation at the premises at all times to ensure that no alcohol will be sold to under 18's. Anyone attempting to purchase alcohol that appears to be under the age of 25 will be asked for proof of age for example a photo driving license or passport. Failure to produce satisfactory proof of age will result in a refused alcohol sale.
4. All staff involved in the sale/delivery of alcohol shall receive training in underage sales, serving to persons in drink and how to deal with abusive and aggressive customers - this shall be recorded and kept for a minimum of one year.
5. The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that a system of recording alcohol refusals is kept. Each week, the Designated Premises Supervisor (or authorised deputy) will examine the records kept and compare it against the normal operating pattern for the premises indicating any action taken. The refusal record will be kept on the premises for a minimum of 2 years for production on request to a constable or an authorised officer of a responsible authority.
6. Relevant training on the current legislation, systems and procedures surrounding alcohol sales will be provided to all staff on commencement of employment. Refresher training shall be provided at regular intervals and a record shall be kept for 2 years. Records shall be available for inspection upon request by the police or an authorised officer of a responsible authority.
7. The DPS shall ensure that there is an up-to-date written letter of authority record for all staff working at the premises who sell alcohol.
