Additional Conditions

• 1. The electrical circuits serving the premises must be examined and tested by a competent person in accordance with the current edition of the Institute or Electrical Engineers regulations, to ensure a satisfactory certificate for the premises is available to be viewed by any responsible authority. 2. A colour CCTV system to the “Recognition Quality” specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times that the premises are open. CCTV images will be stored for 28 days. Police will be given access to, and copies of, the images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. This CCTV will also comprehensively cover the “beer garden” area. Lighting will be sufficient to ensure quality CCTV images. All supervisory staff must be fully trained in its use. 3. No persons under the age of 18 to be in the public areas of the premises after 7:00pm 4. There shall be no ‘off-sales.’ Persons will not be permitted to leave the premises with drinks, glasses or bottles/cans. 5. Each entrance to the premises will be monitored by at least 1 member of door staff from 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays 6. Door staff employed at the premises will be Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved, and will work in line with the Government approved implementation plan. 7. A designated member of staff will monitor the outside drinking area at all times. 8. All windows are to be closed at all times when live entertainment is taking place. 9. No music is to be played in external areas. 10. Noise to be inaudible at the nearest noise sensitive property after 23:00. If found necessary a sound limiting device will be fitted. 11. Clear and legible notices shall be displayed at exits and other circulatory areas requesting patrons to leave the premises having regard to the needs of local residents, in particular emphasising the need to refrain from shouting, slamming car doors, sounding horns and loud use of vehicle stereos and anti-social behaviour. 12. If there is occasion for live entertainment an announcement will be made at cessation, requesting that customers leave the premises having regard for the needs of local residents and keep noise to a minimum and manage their behaviour appropriately. 13. Where already used text/radio pagers will continue to be used for the additional hours of trading and will be monitored by a responsible member of staff. 14. Children on the premises will be required to be supervised by an accompanying adult. 15. The Designated Premises Supervisor shall prominently display A4 notices in all external areas reminding patrons to be quiet and respect the needs of local neighbours and reminding patrons that the external area is to close at 24:00 hours. 16. The DPS must take a pro-active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level and manage noise levels internally so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive building. 17. An acoustic lobby is to be installed to the rear fire door entrance, following consultation with the Environmental Protection Service and as per proposed layout drawing 0015/07/1002 provided by White Design Architects. Regular checks of the outside area will be made by the premises team. Any customers involved in excessive loud behaviour will ask to desist. 18. Fencing around the perimeter of the external area is to be installed/reinstated following consultation with the environmental Protection Service and as per proposed layout drawing 0015/07/1002 provided by White Design Architect. 19. All external areas are to cease at 24:00 hours, seven days a week. After 19:00 hours children under the age of 18 are prohibited at the premises including external areas. 20. Lighting will be provided to ensure that the outside areas used in the hours of darkness are adequately lit. 21. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 22. A challenge 25 scheme will be in place on the premises. Regular and documented training will be in place to support this. 23. The DPS will become an active member of the local pub watch or similar scheme where it is in operation, 24. A drug policy & glass policy will be in place at the premises. 25. The DPS, or some such other person will be assigned to act as Lead Safeguarder for childrens issues at the premises.
