Additional Conditions
1. Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose. 2. Signs near the exits of the premises must clearly communicate that guests must respect the needs of local residents, and leave the premises quietly. 3. No films or videos of any description will be shown so that they can be viewed by persons under the age of any applicable BBFC/Local Authority certification. 4. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical power supply serving all amplified music equipment used for the purpose of live music and other entertainment. 5. When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the Authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to Environment and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used which should be adequate in size for its intended use as a designated dance floor (20% of the capacity on a 0.4m2/person) and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the Authority. 6. A minimum of 2 staff will be assigned to the role of Childrens Safeguarder. A childrens safeguarder must be on the site at the premises during the times that children under 18 are allowed. Staff assigned to this role must attend training provided by the Safeguarding Children Board. 7. The challenge 21 scheme must be operated at all times including a refusals log. Staff must be trained to operate this system and staff training records must be maintained and made available to the authorities on request. Challenge 21 posters and stickers must be prominently displayed throughout the premises. 8. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times and persons under the age of 18 are not permitted after 8pm unless they are dining or attending a pre-booked private family orientated function or event. 9. Persons under the age of 18 are only allowed in the designated family area (the lounge and first floor function room) after 8pm. 10. The licence holder shall ensure that on Friday and Saturday evenings an SIA registered member of staff shall be on duty at the premises between 8pm and closing time. This member of staff shall not have any function other than to control entry to the premises, and will at all times display the appropriate documentation identifying them as such. 11. When alcohol is on sale there must be a Personal Licence Holder on duty at the premises from 6pm until closing time daily and during all hours alcohol is on sale on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. 12. A list of staff authorised to make alcohol sales will be displayed at the premises. 13. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children.
1. The Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) must not be the DPS or have any on site supervisory / management function at any other licensed premises. 2. The Designated Premises Supervisor shall be employed at the premises on a full time basis (save for days off / holidays). 3. The Designated Premises Supervisor must be a registered member of Sheffield Licence Watch. Annual membership and attendance at meetings must be maintained. 4. Colour CCTV will be installed in positions agreed with the Police and images stored for 31 days. The CCTV system shall be maintained inside the building and also within the curtilage of the site governed by the premises licence and shall be in use at all times the premises are open. Police will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 5. All staff employed at the premises shall be appropriately trained in the use of the CCTV system installed at the premises in order to be able to produce images immediately at the request of South Yorkshire Police. 6. The Licence Holder shall ensure that at all times, posters are prominently displayed in relation to Zero tolerance on drugs; Zero tolerance on nuisance and disorderly behaviour; and No under 18s allowed on the premises.
