Additional Conditions
1. A Colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times when the premises are open. CCTV images will be stored for 28 days. Police will be given access to the copies of images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 2. All bars will be staffed with a minimum of 1 personal licence holder at all times alcohol is on sale. 3.A number of designated staff will monitor the premises for underage drinking and proxy purchase. The number will be determined by a risk assessment according to audience profile but on any occasion there will be a minimum of 1 designated floor walker. 4.A clicker system or similar will be used at the door to count the number of under 18s on the premises. 5. Persons are not allowed to enter or exit the premises with drinks, either sealed or unsealed. 6. Persons will not be permitted to enter the premises after 3:00am on any night. 7. No event involving the attendance of your young people under 18 years of age will be organised or held without the prior knowledge and permission of Sheffield Police Liquor Licensing Department and Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board (Licensing Manager). 8. Police radios are used on all occasions. 9. The premises are a member of Pub/Club Watch. 10. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 11. Notices will be displayed at all exists requesting customers to leave the premises and area quietly. 11. The holder of the premises licence shall nominate a member of staff to remove and dispose of any litter outside the premises originating from their business. Corporation will operate to a capacity of 1073 and Local Authority (First Floor New Room5) will operate to a capacity of 270. This monitoring will be conducted by security staff. Their static position is marked as a black circle on this drawing. Security staff will also be deployed at the junction of first floor Unit 3 and Local Authority (First Floor - New Room5). These staff will monitor capacity to ensure the correct levels are maintained in each space. Their location is indicated by a green circle on C&A1. Scenario 2 Part Club (Ref: drawing - Capacity & Access 2): When this scenario is in operation, the overall venue capacity will be monitored by Security at the front door to both venues. Corporation will operate to a capacity of 420 and Local Authority (First Floor New Room5) will operate to a capacity of 270. This monitoring will be conducted by security staff. Their static position is marked as a black circle on this drawing. Security staff will also be deployed at the junction of first floor Unit 3 and Local Authority (First Floor - New Room5). These staff will monitor capacity to ensure the correct levels are maintained in each space. Their location is indicated by a green circle on C&A2. Scenario 3 Stand Alone (Ref: drawing - Capacity & Access 3): When this scenario is in operation, the overall venue capacity will be monitored by Security at the front door of Local Authority (First Floor New Room 5) only and will operate to a capacity of 270. This monitoring will be conducted by security staff. Their static position is marked as a black circle on this drawing. Their location is indicated by a green circle on C&A3. 2.Access and egress: Scenario 1 Whole Club (Ref: drawing - Capacity & Access 1): The main access and egress routes to be used in this opening scenario are marked as a blue arrow on this plan (C&A1). All fire exits will be in operation in this instance. Scenario 2 Part Club (Ref: drawing - Capacity & Access 2): The main access and egress routes to be used in this opening scenario are marked as a blue arrow on this plan (C&A2). All fire exits serving the entire first floor will be in operation in this instance. Scenario 3 Stand Alone (Ref: drawing - Capacity & Access 3): The main access and egress routes to be used in this opening scenario are marked as a blue arrow on this plan (C&A3). All fire exits serving Local Authority (First Floor New Room5) will be in operation in this instance as well as the dedicated disabled route through Corporation. We have also included a copy of our Fire Strategy drawing for the new club space. This drawing has been submitted to South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue ad should be used in conjunction existing Fire Strategy for Corporation. 3. Disabled access and egress: Scenario 1 Whole Club (Ref: drawing - Capacity & Access 1): The disabled access in this scenario utilises the already existing provision in Corporation and is marked with a red arrow on the plan. Disabled access to Local Authority (First Floor New Room5) will be via the connecting doors between first floor Unit 3 and First Floor New Room5. There are no stairs to navigate between these areas. The whole of the venue is open in this scenario. Scenario 2 Part Club (Ref drawing Capacity & Access 2): The disabled access in this scenario utilises the already existing provision in Corporation and is marked with a red arrow on the plan. Disabled access to Local Authority (First Floor New Room5) will be via the connecting doors between first floor Unit 3 and First Floor New Room5. There are no stairs to navigate between these areas. The whole of the first floor of the venue is open in this scenario. Scenario 3 Stand Alone (Ref drawing Capacity & Access 3): The disabled access in this scenario utilises the already existing provision in Corporation and is marked with a red arrow on the plan. Disabled access Local Authority (First Floor New Room5) will be via the connecting doors between first floor Unit 3 and First Floor New Room5. There are no stairs to navigate between these areas. Only the new space is open in this scenario and a dedicated disabled corridor is provided through the already existing venue. Should we find that this opening Scenario is predominating, then we propose to place a lift at the position indicated in the previously supplied Scenario 3 drawing.
Annex 3 Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority and an Appeal at the Magistrates Court (25th June, 2009) Review Hearing 19th June 2008 1. Each entrance to the premises is monitored by at least one member of door staff from 18.00 hours on any day the premises remain open after 23:00 hours; or from the time that the premises are open to the public on any day the premises remain open after 23:00 hours. 2. Persons under the age of 18 years will only be permitted to attend events at the premises on the production of a valid membership identity card of a type and design from time to time approved jointly by the South Yorkshire Police and Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board. 3. The premises licence holder shall, at all times, operate a Challenge 21 Scheme at the premises, in accordance with Government Guidelines. 4. The only time that persons aged 14 to 17 inclusive may be permitted to enter the premises for a regulated entertainment shall be the occasion of band events between the hours of 18.30 hours to 22.30 hours. For the avoidance of doubt, no person under the age of 14 years will enter the premises for licensable activity at any other time. Band events mean live music and things of a similar description. 5. A hand stamp system must be operated by door staff at live music events to identify customers over the age of 18. 6. A personal licence holder shall be on duty at all times the premises are open to the public to authorise alcohol sales. For the avoidance of doubt, this condition applies equally to private functions.
