Additional Conditions

1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises save for the use of authorised AWP machines. 2. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public. 3. CCTV will be installed to a reasonable standard in consultation with South Yorkshire Police: a) Images will be recorded in colour. b) Recorded images will be retained on the system for 28 days (and longer if specifically requested by the Police in the event of an incident taking place. c) The system shall be capable of producing immediate copies of recordings on site. Copies of recordings will either be recorded at good quality VHS video (from either a video based system or a digital system) or into a Microsoft Window compatible video, CD or DVD (on a digital system). d) Copies of recordings shall be produced on request (against a signature) to a Police Officer, member of the Police Staff or Officer of the Local Authority on production of his/her identification. 4. Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose. 5. The management of the premises will liaise with the Police on issues of local concern or disorder. 6. The premises will support the local Pub Watch Scheme where such scheme is in operation. 7. The premises will operate a Proof of Age Scheme which requires photographic identification from any person who appears to be under the age of eighteen years. 8. Staff will receive training on matters concerning underage sales, drug policies and operation procedures. 9. To comply with the reasonable requirements of the Fire Officer from time to time. 10. To comply with the reasonable requirements of the Building Control Officer. 11. Staff will be trained on matters of safety, evacuation and use of emergency equipment, as required. 12. Fire exits and means of escape shall be kept clear and in good operating condition. 13. Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 14. No films or videos of any description will be shown that they can be viewed by persons under the age of any applicable BBFC/Local Authority Certification. 15. There shall be adequate controls in place including staff training to safeguard against the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of eighteen. 16. Children under the age of 18 years should be off the premises by 8:00pm. 17. The Designated Premises Supervisor, or some such other person, will be assigned to act as lead safeguarder for childrens issues at the premises. 18. A copy of the SYP Violent Incident Protocol to be displayed within the premises in sight of staff. This protocol should also form part of staff training and training records to reflect such input. 19. Polycarbonate drinking vessels to be used at the venue on a management risk assessed basis and through negotiation upon police advice. This is most likely to mean for example, use of polycarbonates perhaps at busy weekend times or periods, or when risk assessed by management due to the customers profile or likely demeanour. 20. The DPS or designated member of staff must take a pro active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using external areas and manage noise levels internally so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive property. 21. No amplified sound shall be played except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiter. The settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 22. The maximum capacity for the premises shall not exceed 180 persons. 23. Safety design feature (ledge connected to the balustrade) as agreed and accepted by the public safety responsible authority for the open part of the balustrade will be constructed before any licensable activities take place.
