Additional Conditions
1. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times the premises are open. CCTV images will be stored for 28 days. Police will be given access to, and copies of images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 2. The premises will primarily operate as a restaurant with seated dining, and facilities for occasional consumption of alcohol without food. Substantial food will be available up to one hour before sales of alcohol cease. 3. No persons under the age of 16 years to be on the premises after 8:00pm, unless dining with an adult, or attending a pre-booked function. 4. No sale of alcohol or regulated entertainment will take place under the authority of this licence until the premises have been inspected by the South Yorkshire Police, and the licence holder has been notified that the premises are suitable (in that they comply with the conditions agreed between South Yorkshire Police and the Applicant). 5. The Designated Premises Supervisor for these premises must be a registered member of Sheffield Licence Watch. Annual membership and meeting attendance should be maintained. 6. A suitably qualified person who is the holder of a “Personal Licence” should be nominated and give their consent to being the Designated Premises Supervisor. 7. The premises will operate primarily as a restaurant offering seated dining. 8. The premises will operate a proof of age scheme requesting identification from persons who appear to be aged 21 years or under. 9. Safety equipment (including safety glass and non-slip tiles) will be maintained and in good condition. 10. The occupancy of the premises shall be a maximum of 90 people including staff and patrons. 11. The basement kitchen and preparation rooms should be separated from the stairways and upper levels by fire resisting construction of one hour standard. 12. The applicant shall comply with the requirements of the South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service. 13. Staff will show patrons to their seats when they are ready to be seated. 14. The extractor fans will be maintained in good working order. 15. Noise and vibration shall not emanate from the building to cause a nuisance to nearby premises. 16. Recorded music shall be played at a volume consistent with the character of these premises, as a restaurant. 17. Children will only be admitted to the premises when accompanied by a responsible adult. 18. Persons shall only be allowed to remove drinks from the premises in sealed containers.
1. The downstairs accessible toilet being available for use by all customers, in order to reduce customer movements on the stairs, and having appropriate signage indicating that it is available for use by all customers. 2. All guests who are seated upstairs are to be shown to their tables by a member of staff. 3. There shall be a designated member of staff responsible for monitoring the stairs, whilst the upstairs of the premises are being used, and such staff member should have responsibility for ensuring that they remain free of obstruction or spillages; the member of staff also being required to note any incidents or accidents in a register which is to be kept on the premises. 4. There shall be a written spillage policy, which all staff are trained on. 5. Notices shall be displayed at the premises, warning customers of the risks associated with the stairs.
