Additional Conditions
1. The premises will not cater to the general public and sales of alcohol will be restricted to persons using the wider facilities, including participants, spectators, staff, and persons accompanying these classes of people. 2.All occasional use of the bars by the general public will be discouraged. 3.A full CCTV system to the specification of the South Yorkshire Police will be installed at the premises and maintained in good operational condition while the premises are open. Images will be stored for 31 days and made available to the Police or other Responsible Authorities upon reasonable written request. 4.A representative of the premises shall be a member of licence watch although given the unusual nature of the premises it is not envisaged that they will attend licence watch meetings with the same frequency as those in the licence trade. 5.Before the premises is operational, the South Yorkshire Police will inspect the CCTV and any other matter which is the subject of representations and confirm that it is suitable for its intended use. 6.To comply with reasonable requirements of the Fire Officer from time to time. 7.The premises will have adequate first aid, safety and fire fighting equipment and such equipment will be maintained in good operational order. 8.All staff will be trained on matters of safety, evacuation and use of emergency equipment as required. 9.Spillages and breakages will be removed as soon as possible to reduce the risk to patrons and staff. 10.Sales and consumption of alcohol will be regulated so that alcohol is not consumed in areas where dance classed or demonstrations are taking place. The management shall designate certain areas as alcohol free depending on the type of activities, which are taking place in that part of the premises at that time. Areas where alcohol cannot be consumed shall be clearly marked. 11.Suitable non-slip floor coverings shall be used in parts of the premises that are thoroughfare areas and those parts of the premises that are not designated as dance areas. 12.Fire exits and means of escape shall be kept clear of obstruction and in good operational condition. 13.Windows shall remain closed when regulated entertainment takes place, or during other activities likely to give rise to noise breakout. 14.Patrons will be encouraged by staff to leave quietly and respect the interests of the occupiers of any nearby noise sensitive premises. 15.Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties. 16.There shall be adequate controls in place including staff training to safeguard against the sale of alcohol to persons under 18 years. The premises will adopt the Challenge 21 proof of age scheme. 17.The premises supervisor or appointed staff member shall ensure that the presence of children is not inconsistent with the licensable activities that are being carried out. 18.Policies in relation to children shall be adequately communicated to patrons by staff or through appropriate signage. Health Protection Service (Agreed Conditions) 19.A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment used for the purpose of live music. 20.Sales of alcohol in the dance studios shall be for persons attending a pre-booked function or pre-arranged event only. 21.The premises shall not become effective until the Health Protection Service has inspected the premises with regard to the RCD and any other matter raised during the consultation period, to ensure that these items have been appropriately addressed in respect of service requirements.
