Additional Conditions
1. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times the premises are open. CCTV images will be stored for 28 days. Police will be given access to, and copies of images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 2. The Landlords will provide and operate CCTV to the external courtyard area. 3. A proof of age scheme will be strictly enforced. 4. No persons under the age of 18 years to be on the premises after 21:00 hours Sundays to Wednesdays, and after 20:00 hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, unless dining with an adult, or attending a pre-booked function. 5. Persons shall only be allowed to remove drinks from the premises in sealed containers. 6. The public entrance to the premises or, alternatively, all public entrances to the courtyard onto which the premises opens, will be monitored by at least one member of door staff from 21:00 hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the South Yorkshire Police. 7. Any outside drinking area will not be used after midnight on any night. 8. A designated member of staff will monitor any outside drinking area at all times. 9. Trained staff will monitor the premises and prevent and deal with potential and actual problems. 10. No amplified sound shall be played within the building except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiter. The settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 11. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises, so as to cause nuisance to nearby properties / premises. 12. The Designated Premises Supervisor must take a pro-active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level and manage noise levels internally so as not to cause a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive building. 13. The licensee shall prominently display large notices on all exits reminding patrons to leave the premises in a quiet and orderly fashion to respect local neighbour needs. 14. No music or dancing shall take place in the outside area. 15. Noise breakout levels shall comply with Planning Conditions. 16. Tables shall be cleared regularly during opening hours. 17. Customers will be encouraged not to make excessive noise in the outdoor area and when leaving the premises at all times. 18. The first floor will be a restaurant-style operation with tables and dining provision with ancillary drinking of alcohol. 19. The applicant, or any person purchasing the premises, will carry out full consultation with the responsible authorities throughout the planning of the internal area of the premises so as to ensure the premises complies with the Sheffield City Councils policy and guidance as issued under the Licensing Act 2003. 20. When dancing is to take place on the premises in an area not previously approved for dancing by the Authority, at least 14 days notice must be given to Environment and Regulatory Services (Health Protection Service) and the Licensing Authority, identifying the area to be used, which should be suitable and adequate in size as the designated dance floor for the intended use, and dancing must not take place in that area unless approved by the Authority. 21. A permanent fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical power supply serving all amplified music equipment used for the purpose of live music. 22. No films or other entertainment harmful to children will occur at the premises. 23. There will be no entertainment of an adult nature. 24. All appropriate and required fire prevention /safety measures and equipment will be in place and tested regularly. Regular fire drills will also be held. The applicant shall also comply with the requirements of the South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service. 25. Capacity figures shall be agreed with the South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service and strictly enforced. 26. The Designated Premises Supervisor will be a member of the Sheffield Licence Watch Scheme. 27. All supervised children to leave the premises by 09:00 hours (all under 18s) in accordance with child protection risk assessment. 28. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children.
