Additional Conditions
1. The existing three-camera CCTV system is installed and will be maintained in good working order while the premises continue to trade. 2. There shall be adequate controls in place including staff training to safeguard against the sale of alcohol to persons under 18 years. The premises will operate an approved proof of age scheme and will require photographic identification from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years. A refusal book will be maintained at the premises and will be available to responsible representatives upon reasonable request. 3. Policies in relation to children shall be adequately communicated to patrons by staff or through appropriate signage. 4. The management of the premises will liaise with Police on issues of local concern or disorder. 5. Alcohol will be displayed in areas where there is adequate supervision by staff. 6. Staff will be trained on matters of safety, evacuation and use of emergency equipment as required. 7. The management will ensure that the exterior of the premises is cleared from litter and rubbish on a regular basis. 8. There shall be no sale of alcohol under this licence until the South Yorkshire Police have inspected the premises and confirmed that it can commence trading. 9. Sign up to and operate the premises in accordance with the principles of the Government sponsored Challenge 21 scheme. 10. All reasonable requirements of the South Yorkshire Fire Service shall be complied with.
11. The CCTV system installed at the premises shall be installed to the specification of South Yorkshire Police Licensing and shall be a colour system with 30-day recording facilities. Images shall be stored for 30 days and made available to a Police Officer or authorised Officer of the Council on production of an appropriate written authorisation. 12. The applicant shall place signs in the shop, visible to people outside the shop, clearly indicating that the premises are monitored by CCTV and that images can and will be made available to the Police. 13. The applicants shall join and maintain membership, during the currency of the licence, Sheffield Licence Watch and make arrangements to attend meetings. 14. Recommendation : Both the joint applicants are to take immediate steps if they havent so done, to obtain a personal licence and maintain that licence during the currency of the Premises Licence.
