ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The premises will be a strict 18+, members only space.
2. Door supervisors, staff and safer space/welfare operatives will ensure the capacity limits are not exceeded, at all times.
3. The upstairs smoking terrace will have a strict capacity of 40 due to their only being one fire exit. This will be monitored by staff regularly.
4. The membership agreement will be printed out and displayed throughout the venue, clearly showing to members what is expected of them in the space.
- There will also be notices clearly showing members what to do if they feel unsafe, are made to feel uncomfortable or see behaviour that is at odds with the membership agreement.
- Written signs will include a QR code linking people to as site they can read displays in different languages.
- There will be a light-up members only sign facing outside clearly visible.
5. Gut Level is a Good Night Out Accredited Space. All staff have been trained to deal with sexual harassment and violence under this scheme. As well as bar staff, there will be safer space trained operatives within the space when ticketed events are on. These operatives sole responsibility will be to look out for the welfare of the members in the space and to be first contact for any issues that may arise. They will be easily identifiable through specific clothing communicated to people.
6. Anyone caught using drugs within the space will be removed and their membership revoked.
- Staff and welfare team will be trained to signpost to Likewise Sheffield for instances where drug and alcohol related support may be needed.
- Searching as a condition of entry will be considered at all times.
- Anyone caught dealing drugs will be reported to the police.
7. All noise will be managed in accordance with details laid out in the noise management plan.
8. All members (anyone within the space) need to be 18+ and will be asked to confirm their age when signing up.
- If a door staff suspect a member is under 18 upon entry to the space, they will be asked to show a legal form of photo identification either driving licence or passport, to prove their age and identity which should match their membership profile.
- Bar staff trained to do additional ID checks to anyone who looks below the age of 25.

9. The use of glass alternative drinking vessels shall be utilised in accordance with the premises assessment of risk
10. The use of door staff will be risk assessed on an ongoing basis by the licence holder or premise supervisor. When SIA registered door supervisors are on duty, the premise licence holder shall maintain at the premises a register containing the following details of all door staff engaged at the premises:
-Full name
-Address
-Date of birth
-Copy of security industry licence
11. A CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times whilst the premises are open (in line with specification July 2020) . The CCTV images will be stored for 30 days and police and authorised officers of the council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder, in line with GDPR guidance. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system.
CCTV systems installed after 2021 should be full digital systems with wide dynamic range IP cameras (WDR)
12. The CCTV system will contain the correct time and date stamp information.
13. The CCTV footage will be controlled and kept in a secure environment to prevent tampering or unauthorised viewing. A record will be kept of who has access the system, the reason why and when.
14. Staff will receive training concerning , but not limited to,
-Vulnerability awareness
-Crime scene preservation, incorporating SYP violent incident protocol
-Drugs policies
-Underage sales/Challenge 25 scheme /Proxy Sales/Fake ID’s
-CCTV operation (authorised staff only)
-Dispersal
Suitable refresher training to be completed at least once per calendar year commencing the year after their date of employment. A written record to be retained for a minimum of 12 months and shall be made available to the Police and/or Licensing Authority upon request.

15. All doors and windows shall be closed, save for access and egress of the general public and/ or than in case of emergency, when amplified sound or live music is present in the premises.
16. Amplified sound or live music shall only be played within the building and in such a way that noise breakout does not exceed the prevailing ambient noise level by more than 3dB when measured at 1m from the façade of the nearest noise sensitive property:
a. as a 15 minute LAeq, and;
b. at any one third octave band centre frequency as a 15 minute.
*Where ambient noise level is the LAeq, 15 mins in the absence of the specific noise source (breakout from the premises).
17. No speakers shall be fixed externally nor directed to broadcast sound outside the building at any time.
18. No amplified sound shall be played within the building except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with a sound limiting facility capable of limiting the sound level output of the system to a pre-set level which may then be secured in a tamper-resistant manner, the design and settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service.
19. The use of the external rooftop terrace shall cease at 23:00 hours on any day.
20. The DPS or designated member of staff must take a proactive approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using the external area(s), and access and egress.
21. The premises licence holder shall prominently display A5 notices on all exits reminding patrons to leave the premises in a quiet and orderly fashion to respect the local neighbour’s needs.

22. A Building Regulation Completion Certificate shall be submitted to the responsible authority for public safety within a reasonable time period after the premises has opened for business.
