Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 2. A colour CCTV system to the specification of South Yorkshire Police will be fitted, maintained and in use at all times whilst the premises are open. The CCTV images will be stored for 28 days, Police and Authorised Officers of the Council will be given access to images for purposes in connection with the prevention and detection of crime and disorder. 3. A copy of the SYP Violent Incident Protocol is to be displayed within the premises in sight of staff. This protocol should also form part of staff training and training records will be kept to reflect such input. Persons shall only be allowed to consume alcohol and beverages from open polycarbonate or similar vessels in the allocated outside smoking area to the front of the premises. 4. There shall be a zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs at the premises and there shall be regular checks by management to prevent the use of drugs by patrons. Drugs seized shall be stored securely and handed to the police, records shall be kept of seizures and challenges and made available for inspection of the authorities. 5. No customers apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any time the premises are open to the public. 6. Any person exercising a security activity (as defined by paragraph 2 (1) (a) of schedule 2 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001) shall be licensed by the Security Industry Authority. Such a person will be employed a the premises at the discretion of the designated premises supervisor / holder of the premises licence. Any person defined in this condition will clearly display their name badge at all times whilst on duty. 7. The holder of the premises licence shall nominate a member of staff to remove and dispose of any litter outside the premises originating from their business. 8. A permanently fixed residual current device (RCD) must protect the electrical supply serving amplified music equipment for live music. 9. Any new floor surfaces in public areas shall have a suitable non-slip finish. 10. The Challenge 21 scheme will be operated in compliance with the guidance issued by the Safeguarding Children Board, South Yorkshire Police and Trading Standards authorities. 11. A minimum of one Childrens Safeguarder must be on site whenever persons under the age of 18 are permitted at the premises. Staff assigned to this role must operate in compliance with the training and guidance provided by the Sheffield Safeguarding Childrens Board. 12. No amplified sound shall be played within the building except through an in-house amplified sound system fitted with sound limiter, the settings of which shall have received the prior written approval of the Environmental Protection Service. 13. Clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all the exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly. 14. Signs shall be placed outside the venue and in any smoking area, reminding patrons that they are close to residential accommodation and should be quiet whilst using the facilities. 15. All doors and windows shall be closed, except for access and egress, when regulated entertainment is present in the premises. 16. The DPS or designated member of staff must take a pro active approach to noise control, checking outside the premises to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level from patrons using external areas and manage noise levels internally to prevent causing a nuisance to the nearest noise sensitive property. 17. The premises will be a member of any local Licence Watch scheme.
