Additional Conditions
1. There shall be no adult entertainment or services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children. 2.Except for performances by artists, the stage area shall not be used by members of public for the purposes of dancing or similar licensable activities. 3. Notice must be given for any proposed major events with amplified music under this icence in writing to the Environmental Protection Service, (Sheffield City Council, 2-10 Carbrook Hall Road, Sheffield, S9 2DB) if possible at least 28 days in advance of the start date of any such event, or in any case a period of time to give adequate notice to allow suitable and sufficient comment to be made. 4. Notice must be given for any proposed major events (capacity exceeding 499 person at any one time) under this licence in writing to South Yorkshire Police Licensing Department, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service and Environment and Regulatory Service if possible at least 6 weeks in advance of the start date of any such event, or in any case a period of time to give adequate notice to allow suitable and sufficient comments to be made. All other licensable events under this licence with capacity less than 500 people , at least 14 days noticw should be given. 5.All events to be held on the square are to go through the Community Events Co-ordinator (Parks and Countryside representative) detailed events application procedure to ensure compliance with the licence before permission for use of the site is granted. 6.Risk assessment and other preventative measures and specific information including stewarding, Police presence, information, management plans and event planning meetings shall be undertaken with the Police and other organisations. 7. 2 CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor the square, this is linked to the CCTV cameras in the learning zone and the nearby Chaucer School. During the day the cameras will be recorded to hard disc at the Learning Zone and will be remotely monitored during the evening. The camera will be vandal resistant as well as having a microphone and speaker units which shall enable two way communications between the area and a remote monitoring station. 8. A suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment should be provided to cover each event to be staged. 9. Event safety plans are required for individual events which include facilities that will be available as well as disabled access. 10. The square shall be adequately lit with street lighting throughout the square.
